Opinions on 'most stable' build?

Noob question here...

As I've playing with the kitchen, I've run into glitches - to be expected. With 28232, my phone just died one night and had to be reset. With 23542, my battery completely was sucked dry while being on PC USB cable.

So, is one build more stable than another one? If so, what are your recommendations?

Thanks,
John Foy

The issue you are having on 28232 sounds what is commonly referred to as the SOD (Sleep Of Death). Personally, I don't have that issue on 28232 but other have had it as well. There isn't really a way to fix it.
On 23542, did you have it set to charge while connected to the pc?

Hmm.. I'm not sure. In fact, I didn't even know there was a setting.

The problem with being a noob is you jump into a pool with dozens of apps and have no idea what 1/10th of them do. Sure, I've installed my own apps, but the selection in the kitchen is mostly new stuff to me.

Where would I find this setting?

Thanks,
John Foy

Settings\System\Power\Battery.
Make sure the "When my phone is on, do not charge the battery when connected to a PC" is UNchecked.

Send limit is still 4.9M, only option is 5000k, and I still get "exprired" message. Am I going to have to change the Arcsoft REG to lower the send limit? It always worked at 4.9M before?

If I didn't cook in any other carrier, are all the other MMS servers preloaded in Arcsoft? What the heck did I do wrong?
I cooked in the verizon carrier, the 2 mentioned ext files, and the regular arcsoft and can confirm that MMS worked out of the box with no other modifications.

I've never used it though so I can't comment on it's similarities. I prefer xTask.
i am using that one. on 6.5.x i think thats where the problem lies.. i know mightymike has it working for the standard HTC task manager (i would love to figure that out) but i am still working on that one. trying to figure out how to disable that area of notification enhancement to work for me....

When I get home I'll shoot you a PM to see if you've figured it out yet.
Yes, I got down to the 2 packages and put them in the kitchen. Drag n dropped twice. Put two separate packages into the ext folder. Any other ideas?
