A couple of requests. Please edit the device name under \OEM\Touch_Pro2\Common\Tweaks - Registry\ the provxml file <characteristic type="HKLM\Ident">
<parm name="Name" datatype="string" value="Touch Pro2"/> You left out the underscore for the value "Touch Pro2" and that causes an error when trying to close the windows on the device from settings/systems/about/device id tab. Also, there is a registry setting to have the option for the phone to "be polite" that apristel posted (I forgot it but it's located in th phone canvas oem), which, of course makes to phone ringer lower when it has been picked up. I'm sure you already know what MS My phone has been updated. There's also a groovefish update, you can just replace the Groovefish.Web.dll in the oem folder with the one attached below. Also, it would be nice to have the dialpad vibrate enabled . Also, can you OEM the new spb mobile shell? I tried but it didn't work. One last request, can you have a phone canvas for manila and one for non-manilla? It seems that phone canvas is dependant on manila 2.1 because selecting the contacts or call history maps to the manila version. If you dont have manila installed, those buttons will not work. Thanks Calk!

I don't have manila installed and my dialer buttons work correctly. The only time they don't work is when I had SPB Mobile Shell installed. It was a known issue on the SPB forum. I think I read that the newest version (3.5.2) fixes the issue, but at the expense of the task manager.

Just to add the disable manila dialer buttons in options didint work for me, after various tries and soft resets. I then installed Advanced Config which i was kind of done with and just disabled it there and it worked after the soft reset. Saved a ton of RAM..but thats the only way i got it to work

That makes sense because thats when it didn't work for me.... when I had spb mobile shell. I was using a 6.1 build

If I remember correctly rstoyguy(?) had a tutorial involving OEMing SPB MS...it wasn't a "normal" OEM process.

The issue is that the biotouch.dll that is needed for the SIP selections to work is made for 6.1/6.5 style SIP button and since the 6.5.x button is wider, the dll makes the right side activates the SIP menu and the left side the SIP. using a ROM with kitchen 1.0 using 23506 which is 6.5.1 it doesn't have the button issue. its nice.... but memory management is better on recent 28000 builds I've noticed.

So if you can nail this one down, you'll be the best Chef around this forum! I don't think anyone has a ROM with this bug worked around yet and they might have to give some major credit

Could i suggest adding a few SIPs for example an
- HTC 2.1 Keyboard with arrows and the manila auto correct,
- Swipe has been working fantastically well on a ROM based of this Kitchen(comes with a video tutorial in the options, it's honestly blazing fast in combination with the newest SkyFire for WVGA devices)

I've posted in the general forum about this...and hope that maybe Cal or some of you that might be more knowledgeable and more experienced can help sort this thing out...the gist is to get the native HTC messaging to play nice and send MMS without going thru arcsoft OR WM messaging client.

you are just spamming the room. there is no way to do this at the moment. calkulin cant fix this because its not a simple fix. for that to work we are going to have to wait for htc to come out with an upgraded client or for htc to make it cdma compatible. i dont want to take away from calkulins skills but if it were that easy someone on the forum wouldve taken care of it. you make it seem like we havent already closed that chapter. its been at least 3 months since we've known that program will not send mms and everyone has tried numerous times, its not a new problem in the least, now youre creating threads and asking for it to be fixed like this is a new product.

on a side note calkulin is there anyway you can create an updated tsk that allows for 6.5.x roms to have the enhanced menu. ive used nrg'z titanium only rom and he has options to turn enhanced menu on and off. can you please take a look and see how he does that.
