try dropping your mp3 ringtones into the root of your storage card...your phone should see them there....

tried to build ROM on 21646. got an error. will restart kitchen and try again.
still getting an error level 5.
error executing kitchen_rom_build.bat

any ideas anyone?

this is the first time adding build files to my kitchen. downloaded them, opened the files to the rom and sys and put each one (21646) where the others were in the kitchen. is there more to it than that?

now i can't build any ROM?!?
a basic 28232 failed as well.
any ideas as to what went wrong?

I got errors after adding 21646 yesterday, and thought it killed my kitchen, when in the end i found it was just a "new folder" i made inside the kitchen OEMs caused the platformbuilder to error on all SYS's

so maybe check for any "new" changes u made to the kitchen, and if not, try completely deleting the 21646 folders and just drag and drop after freshly unzipping them again. good luck

nevermind. turns out my antivirus was blocking the kitchen (what did you put into those files welrope???), i turned that off and now it's working. gonna do it in stages, basic first, then add a folder of programs, reflash, test, and so on. want to get this done before the weekend is up.

another question. this kitchen supports xda_uc right? just in case i can't cook in all my programs, might be worth looking into.

ok, tried a trial of 21646 and got a frozen phone at touch pro2 black screen.
any ideas?

edit, put back to true that wince file and all is good. gonna start tweaking it with more programs and see what happens. dang touchpal trial file I have says it is already expired. guess I'll have to wait to add it till i can pay for it. or add it as a cab.

most common thing for black frozen touchpro2 screen is forgotting to check real WM 6.5 Kernel box in the kitchen, if not something recent that was added like oem or exts

I've had this exact same problem, also using Welrope's 21646 SYS. I was about to dig into it and thought I'd check the thread first but I haven't finished catching up yet (wow, I'm way behind) so if this issue has already been addressed I do apologize...
