I did 23506 with 2.5, as well as 23088 with 2.5, and the slider icons were too low behind the new, enlarged start menu. freakin' weird. i'm not changing anything, and the position fix is set to true.

In the preview i am unable to get the grey highlights in 6.5.X either version to apply. The manila, comm mannager and dialer grey applied, but the highlights in windows did not(i.e file exporer highlights)

Hey Calkulin, I think this would be a great addition to your wonderful selection of ext's. I tested it and it works perfectly. That's how I watch movies at work Either this or tcpmp would be nice.

I am still having problems with the new kitchen and sending SMS. I noticed someone else posted a few posts up about the same thing. Anyone have any thoughts on this? I didn't include or exclude anything in the kitchen that could be causing this and SMS was tested before other apps were installed after the flash so there's no conflict with a program I installed.

Hmmm, I just built a rom with the new preview kitchen but I can't help you at this time. VZW computers are down so I can"t do OTA update until morning. But I will report back after I do that.

Install a program to do so? Just google around, there are tons of soft-reset apps, including some included in the kitchen.
Settings --> Personal --> Buttons --> End key
It's doing something, probably default set to toggle between vibrate/sound


It's not even beta software, so it will have quirks. If you need rock solid performance and reliability here's a tip: don't use software that is still in development and experimental!

Having said that, if you know what you are doing, WM6.5.1 late builds are okay for daily use.

I'm getting the impression you are very new with all of this and perhaps starting with a kitchen isn't the best idea right now...

Thanks for the help. I'm not a total newbie, as I have flashed throughout the Summer (first on the old Touch Pro). I just downloaded and installed the 6.5 build, as it is much more stable.

One question: So far, I don't see in setting an option for text messaging. I like to set it to classic rather than the default threaded. Any idea how to get it?
