Thanks !!! I'll play around with it. I always install to the device. I think installing to storage card may have caused the other issues with it not finding speech dll's.

For some reason, on my hardware keyboard, the shortcut for the colon and the semi-colon (which is supposed to be on H and J) comes up as forward slash and backslash . This has happened even after various flashes to new roms from the kitchen. Other than that, this kitchen works perfectly for me! Thanks a whole lot Calk!

Oh yeah, and if there's a quick fix to my issue, someone please let me know. Thanks again!

Are you cooking the verizon provisioning cab or at least all carrier provisioning cab? I'm using the verizon one from the 1.33 kitchen and I just double checked and my : ; work properly. There are some problems with the verizon one from the 1.4 kitchen, maybe that is one of its affects.

Mine had defaulted to handsfree only. But I tried flipping back and forth with no luck.

Then I unchecked "Only during free time" with it on handfree only, and bingo it worked !!

I don't care about announcements and left it on hands free.

It does make some sense in that it's freeing up the normal audio driver for iGuidance. And it may be broken on all ROMs but the "Free Time" setting may be different on different ROMs and the defaults for Voice Command may be different.

Heads up to newbies on **** PagePool ******

When the dialog pops up to set page pool, if you do select and change the value don't forget to hit "CHANGE TO" button before you hit close.

I was never setting my page pool value.

I also noticed Energy uses 28mb which accounts for why boot up memory is so low and kitchen was so high. It is a trade off and I think I'm going to start using 28mb.

i set the pagepool in the kitchen. click the "other" button and you will see the option to set your pagepool.

Anyone notice that the volume is much lower than say, EnergyROM? How can I fix this?
