Actually, there is a program created by JMZ that provisions the phone on first boot for whatever carrier you select. You can find the EXT here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=93926
If you add that to the kitchen and build, it should take care of the provisioning for you, but again I can't test that because I don't have a VZW device. In theory it should work just fine.

thanks you, sounds good. i will give that a shot tonight if i can stay away from forza3, hah.

so do you think that since it is initially set up for sprint that JMZ's provisioning may have an issue overwriting anything? i guess maybe that would be a question for his thread...

hmmm cant get the ext maker to work I drag the file into it black screen like a dos prompt pops up then goes away and nothing. I have it set to run as administrator

Once the DOS box disappears, the folder itself will remain the same, but the files inside the OEM should now be arranged in EXT format

Edit: Also it doesn't work with single files, nor CABs, only OEM folder used from kitchens like BuildOS (if you remember using those on TP1 and earlier)

Wouldn't hurt to try asking. It probably will just overwrite, but can't be certain.

ok finally got it to cook and boot(bad kitchen_build_rom.bat file)...2 problems i see which are very minor...
1. My Location does not work
2. Have to manually set up the connection under manage existing connections in settings tab for "Sprint" as "Phone as Modem" is listed

Yeah I searched and the only program I found that attempted to do it failed horribly. I've attached OEMizer which allows you to convert CABs to OEMs, then you can take that and turn it into an EXT with EXT_Package_Builder.
