I might in the future, but because of the fact that 2.5 lacks a lot of landscape support, I'm not really going to focus on it.

Hmm that should have been fixed...apparently I still overlooked it...

Go into Tools folder, and edit the "kitchen_build_rom.bat" file. Look for a line that has:

REM ************* TOOLS\platformrebuilder.exe
if not "%errorlevel%"=="0" goto error

Add "REM" to the beginning of the line that start "if not". It should now look like this:

REM ************* TOOLS\platformrebuilder.exe
REM if not "%errorlevel%"=="0" goto error

Ok.. Ive tried searching.. and I hate to ask this..
But what are these COM packs? What do they do and how do they help? How are they used?

Im familiar with EXT's and updateing pacakages, and have slowly started to teach myself about actually messing with the image files and what not. But Im still no cooking expert.

These are "build" packs used to update the kitchen and ROms created to the latest WP leaked releases from MS.

If you look at the VK folder structure, you will see SYS and ROM folders, and the packs are used in these folders to update the kitchen.

You also need to copy an existing OEMXIPKernel folder from the device folder and rename it to the new build update.

There is now full support for landscape I'm looking for that link but I seen it on WMpoweruser.com IIRC
and it comes from a user at xda of course

Anyone else having this problem? You open text messaging, slide open the keyboard and no keys work, no up/down/enter or typing any keys to find a message.

To reproduce, press "all messages" on tf3d, open keyboard and try any keys (without pressing anything on the screen)

Does anyone have Album 3.2 with facebook and youtube uploading EXT, that works with this kitchen? I tried using the package from calkins but I can not get it to launch. Thanks

THe problem seems to be with the kitchen or the OEM drivers. The package it self works fine in other kitchens. Also if you click on the album exe in the start menu you get an "htc album is not a valid ppc application" or something like that, dont remember it exactly.

Thats actually written for a TP2... what you should be holding in your hand.

If you follow that, its a really easy way to see how to change ur sys files and how to add EXT.

Got a new kitchen up for latest COM2 6.5 build 21876. Also switched a newer, easier to use kitchen. Uploaded and ready to go. Uploading the new CleanROM as well based on this version.

Thanks for the new kitchen. Currently, I am having a little trouble. Does anyone know if there is a tweak that is necessary in XP?

I have hit build and the green progress bar next to state is all the way across and seems to be frozen.

Sorry, I haven't gotten around to updating the instructions in first post. As long as the window at the bottom says RUU_signed.nbh was generated after the green bar finished, you can either click flash in the utility or go to the RELEASE folder and start the ruu there to flash. The RUU_Signed.nbh should be there as well.

Uploading version 1.6. This has some more fixes, as well as finally becoming carrier independant. Utilizing carrier EXTs (thanks to Calkulin) for Telus, VZW and Sprint, all CDMA users can now build ROMs with this release. I've also included the latest WM 6.5.3 release build 28002 for y'all to play with. Uploading right now and I'll post the link once it's finished.

I'm gonna try it out because I am having a heck of a time incorporating 28002 into calc's kitchen. I keep getting runtime error on platformrebuilder. Thanks for the new kitchen!

Quick question, I was reading the direction in OP and from what I read I should be able to pull SenseUI 2.5 from Calkulin's kitchen and drop it in the specified folder and build correct?

I would assume so. I haven't really worked with Sense 2.5 so I can't really say for sure, and I'm not sure what the dependencies are either. Try it and see. The kitchen is up now.

Wow, this is the first ROM I've made with your kitchen and it's also the best ROM I've used on my TP2. Using 28002, it's very responsive and doesn't seem buggy at all. Battery does seem to be draining a bit fast, but I need to spend more time with it to confirm that.

erice, im not very familier with this kitchen, i just added on some working ext files, and build a rom the first time, but then second time when i checked all the applications i get this error, do you maybe know what it could be or what it means.

Ok, I can build using any OS other than 28002. I get the Visual C++ Runtime Error popup box. This is what I was referring to in an earlier post when I tried to put 28002 into Calkulin's kitchen. I'm running Vista32. While watching the build in Calkulin's kitchen, the popup error occurs near the end of platformrebuilder finishing. Any insights? Or am i A moron and missed something about Vista?

yeah, this kitchen is full of bugs. Deselecting modules/apps from the kitchen does not affect the build. Going back to SSK 3.0.6!
