Wow, your kitchen is great. Battery issue is fixed. I used the 23081 upgrade and 6.5.1 works like a champ. You have a great Kitchen here.

There are two issues with 23081 that I've seen so far.

1. The buttons are on the bottom and cover the Sense toolbar up just a little. It is still very usable. There is probably a way to move it up slightly.

2. HTC Task Manager is behind the clock on the top bar. You can see the time next to the battery and under the clock you can see just a bit of the task manager. I'll bet the offset is just a registry entry somewhere. If anyone knows, please share :-)

When I used the newest builds of 6.5 on my Diamond I just didn't have the task manager up there in the corner because there was no way to adjust the task bar to make the manager fit. Kind of a pain, because the X doesn't really close the programs. Also, when I use that SYS and use SPB Mobile Shell, I can't get to the start menu on the bottom.

These newer builds have some hurdles before they are really ready for prime time.

I cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. I built a ROM with the new kitchen and cannot get data to work at all. I just get an error that says it can't dial and to try later. Flashed stock and rebuilt and I get the same error. Then I loaded the ROM i built with the first kitchen and data is fine.

I built both ROMs the same ... no manila, really basic ... what am I missing?

Does it start the connection and dial #777? If so, what error number are you getting. I know that Sprint was having constant data issues this morning and I couldn't get onto data during that time no matter what I tried.

Im also having no data issues, not sure whats up with it. If i flash to stock data works, but flash my rom im making and nothing. It tries to dial but gives amessage to check my settings and reset the phone.

Im on Telus and am not having much luck. As a last resort, I installed DCD carrier cab to see if that would fix anything but it did nothing as well.

Got a bunch of calls and just tried the data and yep, it says unknown error connecting... not the #777 error. I also get an error on the Sprint Provision update tool. Bummer. Let me know if you want to try any fixes or troubleshooting.

Still love the ROM, but, I listen to XM on my phone and I need an easy way to turn off the screen but keep the device on. With the stock ROM, when I pressed the power button it did this, but now I think it turns the device off, because it stops streaming. Any way to resolve or change this?

Something must have been deleted in the kitchen in my haste to fix the charging issue. I'm repackaging another working kitchen that I just tested that has all of the same fixes in it. Sorry about that. I don't know what happened there.

You seem pretty demanding for being provided the tools to make your ROM with.

If you really want everything done for you then please, learn how to do it yourself. I'm doing this while having a full time job and going to school full time and I only have so many hours in the day AND I do it for free. Some things are bound to slip my mind.

the fix is in the rilphone.dll and since we don't have an updated one to match the 6.5 nk.exe its an issue that is gonna be there

No it's a line in the .bat file that will throw an error upon execution. Just need to add REM in front of it. I've fixed it now. Reason I kept forgetting about it is I'm using Windows 7 and I don't think it's an issue there. Only seen it on an XP machine so far. Not a huge deal really.

Updated post #3 with a new CleanROM version. It has all of the new fixes in it that I've been working on, as well as carrier generic. I've built it with JMZ's Carrier Selection screen on boot that asks to choose your carrier which will take of all customization. All extra frilly nonsense has been removed from it.

So the only thing I can't get working now in my ROM is YouTube. It opens and the circle just spins and says downloading ... forever. I can't see anything in registry that seems off or anything. If anybody has any ideas, that would be great. It's not something that I'm gonna die over, though. :)

ok first time using a visual kitchen (i used to build roms for my Vogue, but its been a while since then...) when ever i build a rom using this kitchen i get an error while configuring touch screen with something about an error in the APPOST.xml file....

Any help would be greatly appreciated
