Thank you so much,it works.One quick question,I did notice that if i open IE or SprintTV or anything need data,it took a while to connect,is it normal?

Looks like another case of a bad module. These modules are killing me! Anyway, here's a fixed version. It's stock and works like it should. :)

Edit: Scratch that, it DID work and now it stopped again...sigh

I'm not tryin to be funny when I say this I am trying to help .... rebuild your kitchen use a HTC official build for you SYS use EXT from devices with the same or likewise chipset as ours but rebuild your kitchen your errors are a result of something corrupting the re-allocation in prb

The kitchen was built from an official Rhodium shipped ROM from USCC. The EXT is mainly from that build, but the OEM is from official Sprint stock. The SYS should have nothing to do with it. The error is with a single OEM not the kitchen itself.

I keep getting errors when kitchen builder rom starts...Level 1 error. i'm gonna try the fixed one Juggs posted. I'm trying to get the hang of this new kitchen and messed up my other ones. Now here's my question. I am trying to build a VZW specific for myself but my roms are non bootable. of course if and when I don't get the error stated above. Is there certain things in the OEM folder I cannot swap out? and I'm gonna try the 23081 when I get my computer tonight. I think alot of my issues I've been having is because I have a bad copy of it. Not yours but someone elses. Anyway, I'm posting from my phone, I hope all this makes sense

Actually, I do not think it is EXT's becomming corrupt so much as there is some sort of program access to the internet type issue. The same thing is seen in the QGPS program for updates. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

Both youtube and QGPS make a connection to the internet but act as if it can't access the destination addresses for the information requested.


Wierd.. anyone any ideas?

make sure real 6.5 is checked at the top of the kitchen.

you can swap out any of the sprint oem folders for verizon ones...

Okay, I've tested it several times. It seems that it needs to be opened once and establish a data connection. The first time it won't do anything, but I've found that after a soft reset it connects like normal. Weird, but it seems to work after that. I don't really know why it's so sporadic.

Yeah you should just be able to copy over the entire OEM folder and it should still build.

So I didn't even have to rebuild ... just opened YouTube, waited a minute, soft reset, opened YouTube again and it downloaded and played fine. The scary llama may be on to something, too, because I do have the same issue with QGPS.

ok the ussc rom is a test rom use the official htc rhodium rom the most the ussc rom has to offer is the kernel and the oemdrivers the imagio rom may help you out also and the oem you can use the oemlang folder from the htc rom but i would ditch as much of the spcs rom as possible

ok so after building with the 1.3 kitchen a few of us are experiencing modem issues that werent present in the first build...can you tell me what it was you did different between 1.1 and 1.3...originally you were trying to fix a charging issue in 1.1.

Well in 1.0, I used the USCC test rom as a base for EXT and OEM. Basically I found that overall this build would present some issues with pressing softkeys and select fields on the touchscreen (most notably the text messaging screens). As far as the modem issues you're having, can you be a little more specific. Are you getting error numbers? I'm trying to figure out what it could be because I've been using Facebook, Twitter and tethered all day using the same kitchen that I uploaded no problem.

The only thing I'm aware of having an issue and that I can constantly reproduce is the problem with YouTube and QuickGPS sometimes not connecting despite starting the data connection and accessing it. This is a common problem even in MightyMike's ROM.

The main problem I see is, and correct me if I'm wrong, we don't have an official CDMA WM 6.5 build to pull an OEM folder from to copy drivers, programs, etc. other than this USCC test ROM that for some things, isn't all that great. Sure I can grab some stuff from the Imagio, but I'm leary to do so because they are essentially two different devices.

DO NOT MIX ANYTHING FROM THE 6.1 ROM WITH A 6.5 BASE:
ok you stated that you mix some of the moduled drivers from the ussc rom with the oemdrivers from the spcs rom there is one of your problems the 6.5 drivers are designed differently and since the kernel is updated too some of the "old" drivers may fight with the new ... so either use all of the ussc drivers or all of the spcs drivers it is best to go ahead and clean out the ussc drivers since they match your kernel and ditch the ervius kitchen and make one of your own off of the prb script

i was having that same issue in 1.1 and 1.3 and i redownloaded the kitchen and extracted again and since then i have not had any issues....

to be more specific the #777 error still popped up randomly...while tethered the device would randomly soft reset itself...

I listen to XM on my phone and I need an easy way to turn off the screen but keep the device on. With the stock ROM, when I pressed the power button it did this, but now I think it turns the device off, because it stops streaming. Any way to resolve or change this setting?

Use the Display icon in the start menu.. should only turn the screen off

Alright so I'm pretty sure I have everything JD was trying to tell me squared away. I have a completely rebuilt full 6.5 kitchen with all 6.5 drivers. Putting the finishing touches on it and putting it through stress testing to make sure it's ready.

okay I want to learn how to cook. But it isn't let me use the stove lol. Every time I run the "start erice kitchen rom" I get "this software requires administrative privileges to run." Please help me. Thanks

Right click on it and select "Run with Administrative Privileges."
