Re: Sprint Unlocker - RhodiumW WU Radio Unlocked for US Networks

what I'd like to know is what the people who have no problem are doing that you clearly aren't doing.

I don't live in the US so I don't have any way of figuring out what you are missing that everyone else isn't.

are you using stock ROMs? which patched radio did you flash? does the signal drop when you're moving or can it drop when you're stationary?

I can get the signal to drop by going to the other side of the house and back.
I'm using the 1.96.00 radio.
I've tried several ROMs
I've had a few people walk me through the network setup steps, always ended up doing what I've already done.

Olipro,
more info:
OS version: 5.2.28014)
ROM MalROM v1.5WWE
Radio verison: 1.96.00WU

MY SIM card is from AT&T. Been with AT&T for about 3 years now. It's a 3G SIM card, that's about all I can tell you about it. I've never used data, though. Just trying to use the phone.

Does this have anything to do with frequency? Not because it is on GSM manual mode, so it couldn't stay connect?

Re: Sprint Unlocker - RhodiumW WU Radio Unlocked for US Networks

no, it has nothing to do with that.

there's a million possibilities why it's dropping, it might be the device or it might not... it might be the radio or it might not (personally I doubt it), it could be the ROM or it could be the settings that you chose.

generally speaking, you should set it to GSM Only but the network selection should ALWAYS be on Auto.

Re: Sprint Unlocker - RhodiumW WU Radio Unlocked for US Networks

Hey olipro

these are the Roms ive tried
Mighty
MalROM 1.5b2 WM6.5.3 Sense 2.1
fiROMv1beta4(US Cellular)
And others

Ive Tried Both Radio's from this thread

when going into the network setup ive discovered that Automatic Network Select doesnt work with any rom or radio unless you trick it into thinking its got automatic working. ill webcam or something with you and show you how it doesnt stay in coverage unless stationed
