go to file explorer....go to windows.....go to start menu....programs...find where the the duplicated icons are then delet them.

Yes you can by going to file explorer and selecting windows then select the folder that states startmenu and select programs and select the folder that this extra Icon is in and click your stylist down on the program till it asks if you would like to delete it.

Then delete the additional added program and when you exit out do a soft reset and it will work. :)

Hmm, it seems that it's actually supposed under my Start Menu -> Settings folder as opposed to Start Menu -> Programs -> My Apps / Tools.

However, when I go to the Settings folder, it's completely empty... which is where I need to be to remove those extra Update PRL and Profile icons. :scratch:

You are right. I cannot access any of the settings menu stuff from the windows section with total commandar either. I am sorry about that and maybe Merdin can help us with this.

I dont even like sprint tv but i installed the cab just becasue people always say it dosent work....Well it doesnt work with this rom..Didnt think i would have to do reg edits to make sprint tv work on this sprint rom?

Are you stil using the version from last night, if so the links have been updated this morning, download the new rom, issue fixed.

the batter life in this rom is great yo. i left my light on my phone on all night with only two bars left and i woke up and still had a bar left.

Is anyone having problems changing the home wallpaper? When I try to change wallpaper, htc sense doesn't launch.

awesome ROM
been an fan since the TP1

2 questions
1. how do i remap the end call button to bring up the slide 2 shutdown options? it right now jsut puts the phone into vibrate.
2.the auto lock from windows is nice, when i slide to unlock, i get some over lapping text, "device is remotely locked and emergency calls can be made"

any solutions for the above?

for some reason it won't install. just sits there with the cursor spinning.

you wouldn't happen to have a cap for the compact QWERTY keyboard would ya?

Edit. ok. got worldcard installed. works like a champ. having a few other issues tho. i tried juggalo_x Sprint carrier cab file along with his sprint tv cab file. his carrier cab messed up the internet connection. which i odd because it work on the energy roms.

also. do you have a cityid cab that works? the one i have isn't working on your rom.

also. the cab file that activates the bottom slider bar to work as a scroll bar doesn't work on your rom.


after i test it for awhile longer, i'll report back. oh yea. i'm using the 2.5 manila.

Ok first time running 6.5 on tp2..Wyy dosent SMS show thread messages.....I dont see my sent messages..I only see the other person messages...And if i send a message i don't see it??????? Im using manila 2.1 ..Can anyone help me understand this?

I would of loved this rom if i was emo and had way to much time on my hands..it ran great but felt a little bloated with all the stuff on there..looks great just to dark for me i think if u could make a non dark theme you'd have a winner!

i'm still having issues with the phone ringer..... my girlfriend is already thinking i'm ignoring her. anyone elses ringer not working? i'm on the 2.5 version of the latest build.

on 2.5 its there, not in system folder though, dropped the rom so i forget where. lol i had ringer issues and couldnt switch to just ring when it did ring.

im not going to jack op thread to talk about another chefs rom, i like op's rom but i had some issues that i needed fixed like the no ringer issue and i didnt see a fix so i thought it was me.

merdin. damn dude. this is a really nice rom. very stable. i'm just having some issues with it not taking standard cabs. it won't take the standard leo slider cab. haven't seen a rom yet that wouldn't. you must have the icons protected some how. it also won't take the spint tv set up from juggallo_x or the cab that makes the bottom slider a scroll bar.

that being said. i think i' going to stick with it a few days. i really like it. good job, sir.

which version of the rom are you using? what cab did you use to change the taskbar?

did you try the cab that makes the slider bar a scroll bar?

edit. heck. it won't take any icon cabs. for the top or bottom slider. what the heck? merdin must have some protection going on that the other cooks don't have.

1. What is your carrier?
2. Did you let custimization run through all the way and it resets by itself?
