yea that key for some reason will not show up any txt or picture just the key but everyone knows what its for, and the landscape slide is suppose to be like that because thats how landscape manila is.
Also i have not tested 2.1 on 23518 personally so if anyone else can confirm that i will check it out.

I figured out how to stop the weather animation in the Home screen. Is there a way to edit and stop the weather animation in the Weather APP itself? Running Sense 2.5. Still learning thanx to all of you!:drunken:

Im running the 6.5.3 version as of today. LOVE IT !!

Question though: Is there a better volumn graphic somewhere that would be compatible? I like the original one that was loaded on my TPII :mrgreen:

And I also have Swype Keyboard on my storage card. Will that make this one unstable? Wanna find out before hand...

Quick question... After flashing 23518, the HTC Touch Pro 2 screen comes up but there is no red writing on the bottom. Not sure what this means but I have always seen it before. Any ideas?

Can't get the "my location" to work for nothin. Consequently my weather won't work. I tried to use Quick GPS but it won't download satellites, says expired on the bottom. Don't know what I am doing wrong, I've done this a thousand times...

did you do the carrier provisioning process after first boot. What is your carrier, ill upload the cab for you .

I did the carrier provisioning for Sprint. Could it have anything to do with the red writing not showing on the Touch Pro 2 screen on boot?

i believe the red writings don't show because of something of the Verizon kernel... it was something to do with new Verizon ROM. I can be wrong though!

I'm scratching my head. LOL I'm on the 2.1 23518 rom. Messaging seems to be from 2.5 correct? So you disabled 2.5 msging on the 2.5 rom but you installed it on the 2.1 rom? I'll have to see how fast it runs and report back. Just a little different. Not complaining at all. Just caught me by surprise.

I just flashed and did carrier provisioning. Now when I try to make a call I get a message that my call is being forwarded to an outside operator that will help me complete my call with a credit card or calling card. Clueless as to what could be wrong

How do I get autocomplete to work? didn't work for 2.5 or 2.1. I went into hklm\system\inbox\recipientautocomplete or something like that and I changed it from 0 to 6 and it didn't work...guessing cuz of manila.

The hardware zoom doesn't work in IE(freezes IE) but it half way works in Opera. It will zoom in but then it will zoom back out when you let go. So it is useless when you are trying to zoom in to click small links, such as page numbers in a thread. I believe the scrolling hack is messing it up. I checked to see if you did that tweak in file explorer and it was scrolling.

Hey Merdin, I love the ROM, but I have a question. Is there a way to eliminate the Maxmanilla stuff and then change the background away from the dark themes? I really love your ROM's, I just want to lighten it up without taking out the substance.

This ROM looks AMAZING! Where are you getting your Max Manilla and Dusk elements from and what is the best method for cooking them in? Do they come in EXT form? Please point the way.

what you can try is intalling one of the themes that they have on hear with a cab, and then see the outcome, and if theirs a problem let me know.

This ROM was sweet, I tried the 2.1 build 21888 but the messaging client was what i hate, anyway to disable it and have plain WM one? Also when using you're keyboard, there never seems to be a click able space button but that can be solved by me installing my own KB.

Having the same problem on the 6.5.3 2.5 Rom. The space bar on the on-screen kb just gives me a .com or a slash. Had to install swype and use that

can someone help me please.... Been on MM rom for ever then found this one and it looks sweet. I flashed 6.5.3 2.5 m and provisioned. I am on Vz and cant get a data connection. Am I missing something?

Great Rom (sense 2.5) Merlin. Everything working perfect. This is the sweetest rom I've come across! just one question...Is there anyway to stop the Weather Animations all together? Got a problem now....when I go to the start menu and attempt to scroll and select an icon, everything blurrs and blends together and I end up having to power down or do soft reset....see attached photo

One more bug.... From contacts when you click to make a call it will not respond. as wel as SMS. nothing happens. Works sometimes.

This happens when you use a non compatible theme with windows mobile 6.5.3, because you cannot use regular 6.5 themes, and if you do this can happen.

If your talking about the shortcuts on the home screen, then that is part of Manila 2.5 which is in the ROM.

I did a hard reset to fix this problem. 1. turn the phone off, 2. when phone is off, hold end call and receive call button down 3. press power button while holding down the end call and receive call button 4. follow system prompts on screen.
