im on the newest 6.5 rom with sense 2.5. i dont think i have a bad flash or anything? ive been on this rom since it came out?

Try this.
Go into start menu, then Tools folder, then press on CleanRAM Config, and in their select level 3, and press clean now, once that is done reset your phone, and then go into the email tab and try again, but make sure during this process that the screen does not turn off at all.

:silent:i am having a major problem! my phone freezing atleast 4-5 times an hr and i have to take the battery out. im working off of the last 6.5 build since sunday and everything has been fine until yesterday. im trying to pinpoint what changes i made on the phone and the only thing i can think off is that on the home screen menu i hit enable my location bc my weather still shows poplar springs if i use gps. ok so long story short i wanted to just reflash but after installing this rom i received a blue screen on my computer each time it loads up so i must have gotten a horrible download considering it will not even boot up in safe mode. the phone freezes after every call sometime while im answering an incoming call if i go to notifications.the phone does not turn black even after 30 mins and the only fix is to remove the battery. anyone else having this problem or can give me a suggestion. wiping the phone is def not an option considering i cant log into my computer to get my contacts back on this really sucks!

I went into ramclean config and cleared levels 1 2 and 3 and its performing a little better... still the best custom rom out there in my opinion! now i have to rebirth my laptop

Try the CleanRAM L3 cleaning; solves odd problems sometimes.

I love this Rom! I am having a little bit of an issue with the weather animation though. Every time the animation activates it looks all glitched up. I tried cleanram and i hasn't fixed the problem. Does anyone have a solution?

There isn't a fix available atm, but I believe he has taken care of it in the new rom.. that will hopefully be out tomorrow :headbang: I'm quite excited!

Gotta tell ya....Thought I try a new ROM and I flashed this Merdin Rom on my TP2, Holy crap am I impressed. Manila 2.5 is working great, The apps are beautiful to have and my phone runs super fast and smooth wih no glitch. My hats off to you MERINH!!!! Awesome Rom, Awesome skin, Awesome performance!!!! Is it just me, or do I see a "01-18-2010" heading for updates on the D/L page... Don't get me all excited! I'm currently testing EnergyROM for 23518, and although the threaded email is sweet, Merdin's ROM was much snappier and with better battery life. Can't wait to see what tomorrow brings...

No its not you...I also saw the 1/18/10 updates but I dont think he set it up for download yet. I'm also excited and cant wait to see what else he adds but let me tell you...this is the sweetest Rom I've tried and i love it. I'll be looking for that 1/18/10 update. Their are 4 Roms now to use.
a few more graphical issues with the manila are still their, and the keyboard space bar is blank but still works.
Dont forget on windows mobile 6.5.3 you have to click on the top right hand corner where the Task manager is to launch on the carrier custimization.

Just out of curiosity. Ever gonna have some love for the USCC? I noticed most cooks leave out provisioning for USCC and only use VZW, Telus, and Sprint. Find it kinda funny where as USCC was the first to have 6.5. I tried to get the USCC provisioning cab I have to work with this rom but it fails miserablely, so I unfortunately have to not use this ROM for now. But other than not being able to use it on a regular basis, I gotta say, It is a sweet looking rom.

hi i actually do have USC on their but not sure why its not showing up, but anyways if you need USC hears the file thats suppose to install when you click on it in provisioning.

Glad I'm not the only one suffering from the slow download speed. I kept stopping and restarting thinking that might speed things up a bit. I guess 9 hrs 4 mins remaining is a bit better than 13hrs. :mrgreen:

23158 install/flash went smoothly. Initial impressions:
+ Very snappy!
+ MMS works for Sprint
+/- MaxManila (actually, I'm not a fan, but everyone else is). Is there any way to get back the next calendar entry on the Home tab (get rid of the four quick launch buttons)?
+/- Pewter(?) theme - not sure if I like it or not (vs original Dusk).
- Overlapping icons on slider & weather animation still messed up on the clear night animation.
- SMS name lookup (while typing) doesn't seem to work.
- A few other graphical issues

Overall, it seems like a ROM I'm definitely going to stick with until the next update. Also, please don't take any of my comments as criticisms, just observations to help with improving and already fantastic ROM. Great work, Merdin!

Yea the download speed jumps up and down, but i've had three timeouts/failed downloads. Now I've started again and it's saying, but i'm up to a blazing 7kb/s and only about 6 hours and some change to download. This might have to be one of those download now and flash in the morning deals.

the htc hot fix patch isnt on websites change log so i assume its not cooked in and gotta use the work around?anyone?
