Greetings Mr X,

I have downloaded, flashed and am waiting for my post flash hard-reset to finish.

I have a couple of quick questions based on my 30 seconds of use thus far.

Is there a cab that will give me the boring white clock? I am old.
Is there a way to get the previous version tab icons? I just perfer a bit of color.

Very much looking forard to trying out this version. Thanks for sharing your excellent work

nascar is sweet, live audio you can listen to spotters or your fav. drivers radio, lots of swearing. nfl is sweet too, also has audio but i didnt post it since only one game left. i use the nav all the time and like it.

Briggs any luck with notes? My phone syncs everything through exchange wirelessly except notes.. I think this may not be a ROM issue as much it is a windows xp issue..my desktop has the windows phone software and previously I could always manually sync my outlook notes..

p.s. when I first set my phone to sync I manually enter notes from PC but it never works (gives me a sync error)..hmmm

im good on 2, i dig nascar. beer and fast cars going in circles? yes sir. its fun to watch live and im close to dover del. so i go twice a year.

according to documentation im finding on Office mobile, not just 2010 in general. Exchange will not sync notes. only a physical active sync connection to the pc will sync notes with the outlook client. at any rate im looking into this. Were you ever able to do this before?

It's gotta be some compatibility issue with the new office mobile 2010 package that is included with Juggz and Mighty's roms.

I've got office 2003 on my work computer and no syncing. I'll try it with office 2007 on my home unit but I doubt that's going to work there either.

Other than this though, just a sick ROM release here.

Ya before the latest office mobile update it worked fine when syncing through the cable connection.

I've only ever seen it briefly on TV... I do like beer though, and car crashes... You might be onto something.

just wanted to say that in my flashing madness, I gave Mr. X a try and gotta say its fast, everything seems to work great and I think you are right about the VZW core affecting battery life. I was on Mightys and getting 7 hours and things have been better for me on yours. Not sure about anyone else

I do miss the extras on the other roms and will probably flash back to the latest WAR when Mike releases to give it a shot again. I do like the 2.5 interface. The graphics for Mr. X dont really float my boat but its not my ROM either.

Anyone looking for a fast 2.1 rom, give this one a try

Notes used to work fine ( only with a wired connection--they will not sync wirelessly).. No access to my desktop ( vista= windows mobile) so I am using XP=active sync...I think this could also be the problem as I used to get my notes from the desktop..either way this certainly is no game breaker for me at...Second thing, on your post with the cabs etc when I click on any of them it will not work (is this just on my end)..has any one been able to connect to these cabs? thanks again

Flashed last night... ran it's paces till lunch when I could lock myself in my office and load all my crap on it- and it hasn't blinked- rock solid. I have noticed one thing: whenever I soft reset, quick qps comes up, already downloaded with a valid time... something I may have added aggravating it or can anyone duplicate?

yes, I can duplicate the quick gps popping up. doesnt harm anything though. its the custom taskbars. Just flashed this rom. Thanks Mr. X. Looking forward to it!

telenav expired?

Sorry that was so short...was my cherry ppgforum post from my TP2 and I just can't manipulate Opera. I've tried a couple of cabs that I had and the one Mr X posted- and always get 'account expired- call TelNav". Went to website, logged in without issue, checked my account settings online,etc.. Any ideas anyone or anyone else with the problem? If not, will clear storage, load it up 'bareback' and play 'reverse cab jenga' till it craps out.

OMG juggz this rom is the fastest thing I have seen yet! Amazing!

Everything works like a charm except for a couple small things:
1. Can't get any transparent slider cabs to work. Tried after hard resets, different cabs with resets in between, with sense turned off, all the right ways but to no avail.
2. Same results with the no-curtain cabs

This isn't anything big just wondering if maybe there's somethin on your end or any suggestions that I can do. Keep up the good work!

Have not tried any transparent sliders......

Agreed- no harm/no foul... if you install Arpistel 1% driver AFTER tsowen tbar, QuickGPS prompt goes away altogether! I mistakenly installed it, and while it was installing said 'crap, that taskb already shows 1%, i'll just uninstall it when it soft resets' and lo and behold, no prompt. I'll report if battery indicator shows to not be accurate with the double install.

1. the internet takes to long to load n to connect when i open opera browser. I even install opera mini n its doing the same thing.



2.i was getting the txts late and sometimes to get a txt i had to press the power button n then the txt would show ..

Experiencing a weird issue. I installed ohyeahar's color tf3d 2.0 cab and it worked for the most part. the only problem is the weather tab's icon on the slider and the big preview icon did not change. looks like everything else did though. could this be due to a tf3d version mismatch? thanks!

For some reason, I can't get MMS to work on this ROM. I've installed the latest version of Arcsoft. I've also flashed back to stock and then reflashed back to this rom. Same result. Are there any special settings that I need for Arcsoft or am I doing something incorrectly? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm having this issue where I recieve a call and I try to answer by slide to answer and it will just hang there till the call is missed, it's not happening all the time but its annoying when it happens.

I have had this issue as well and I just wish I knew which item that I have loaded is the culpret..for me this issue is pretty large as when it happens I typicaly miss the call all together...LOVE the ROM just wish I knew the fix..I may give the dialer (inesoft) that Flyers uses a run if I keep having issues..

Not a rom issue....sounds like something is going on with your carrier....

Never heard of that cab...but I am going to have to say yes that is what more than likely is causing the conflict....

No....should just have to install and it works no problem.....did you provision and what cab are you using?

Had this issue with the Inesoft dialer also.....go to the paperclip and install the Shaggy 777 cab....installing this seems to have made the issue go away for myself and Darren.....dont ask why...but it worked...lol:mrgreen:

Figured it may not allow that function so I am back to my HTC dialer and today hoping for no more slide/freeze/miss call issues..thanks again for helping so often.

Was it a trial version? I will check it out later....testing a different rom for right now.....so I cant check it at this minute....will be back on updated X rom later on for sure...:headbang:

Make sure you:

Provisioned for Sprint (sorry, but always gotta say that)
Use the Arcsoft MMS cab Mr X has posted on the 1st page. I use that one, after trying 3 others, similarly named that I had, and it works fine.

yes..but when you go to the site it clearly says during 14 day trial all functionality is on..Have some fun flashing (LOL) and let me know when you can..the inesoft thing does look really nice but I would have to lose favorites..
