Thanks man, i actually have this one, but do the sprint settings work on this cab? (or do i have to input the registry entries for it to make sprint mms work?)

:-> lol, that's ok, i have a bunch of PCs/laptop around me (work, home neighbors) and yet, i choose to use my TP2 for surfing this site..lol
i always keep my cabs in the storage card and use Opera 9.7 build 35461 and i can upload any cab from it while making a post, and i can browse to any deep folder in the storage card, give i try one of these days! :-)

I tried this one and when I send my self a video2.7MB it say's "video too view on this device" thus far the only one that will allow me to download this size vidoe is the one I've posted before

not sure on the settings I have not used it....I forgot I even had it..lol....you know come to think of it I did use it on JD I believe and did not have to adjust anything except I did increase size limit....but I do that on 5094 everytime..

Thanks for the cab but when I tried the rom, My screen kept acting up and could not get it callibraed the way it needed to be but may try again.

I would re-flash....first time I have heard that problem at all.....re-flash then hard reset, you should be good after that...

Great job on this ROM!
I noticed a few things though.
1) I'm on cricket using it with VZW TP2. Cricket requires a proxy setting to use with their mobile web. Every now and then the phone drops the proxy settings for no apparent reason. It usually happens at least once a day.
2) I have smooth 720x576 (european DVD resolution) playback of AVI files with CoreAVC player on 6.1 based ROMs and not on this one (I think it's common for all 6.5 based ROMs though). Is there a way to fix that?

Great rom and thanks much! I reinstalled and running now fine. I don't see well and am trying to find Windoows Market to download apps. Is it already installed and if so, where is it and thanks again.

I read your post about this connection.xml file. I have the same problem like you do. I only have one connection file that is assoctiated with opera browser. As I can not see the extension I am not sure if this is the right file (btw I have show all files enabled).

you actually have to install the wm market cab. it's not in this rom. you can do a search here or google it.

:headbang:You know I did the same except for deleting it I just renamed it. So far so good. Didn't erase my proxy settings with soft/hard reset. :headbang:
BTW do you use proxy only for HTML or everything else? I can not get my weather to update. Youtube like you mention doesn't work either. Skype doesn't work on web mobile even if I set proxy in skype.
I guess we should invest in proxycap or something like that...

I wonder is there a way to change the keyboard layout to match the Verizon version of TP2? Currently the buttons map to match Sprint version of keyboard.

I usually don't change anything as far as internet/proxy setting go...I go with whatever the phone is set at. I've tried and tried to get youtube 2.6 working.
Never had a problem with version 1.6 on cricket and tried to load that version on this ROM and it worked but for some reason everything was to small, like the screen resolution was wrong.

look in the mightyrom thread and you will find in the third or fourth post some cabs and under verizon you will see a keyboard cab fix, just use that and than soft reset and you will be good to go.


yea on all 3 of the accounts that i set up.. i know they are set up right since i can receive emails without any troubles.... its really weird... im going to try another hard reset and give it one more shot than try a reflash and go from there. if you or others have any ideas im more than willing to try.

Are you trying to change the wallpaper for TF3D or when you tap the Start Menu? If TF3D, copy the wallpaper either on the Device to the My Wallpapers folder or your SD Card...Go to Settings Tab and select Wallpaper and locate your new wallpaper and set it. If your talking for the start menu, open up Pictures & Videos from start menu, open the wallpaper and if you press and hold it, it will give you the option to set it as wallpaper..folow on-screen instructions and finito!

dont know what is going on with it, got it working for one message than back to the old and thats after another reset.... must be something im using that isnt acting correctly with the rom.... guess i figure it out and hard reset and than soft reset after every cab install so i can see if i can find out what it is. Thanks for the attempt and the help though. realdly do appreciate it.

no worries glad it worked for you and the lock cab which makes the right soft button on your screen the lock so you dont have to click on start menu first works great as well on all other roms :)

Honestly...I haven't noticed if it automatically updates weather. I'll be trying different radio's so my wap setting kept disappearing.

As for proxy only in connection settings...not sure I understand what your talking about. Send me a PM and tell me more.

well figured out it was the dialer from the dusk series theme that wasnt playing nice with this rom.... no big deal just wont use it haha.. the rest works as advertised and great though.

I experienced this as well. I was using the Dusk dialer only cab and all kinds of weird things started happening. I uninstalled and everything went back to normal.

You will lose the home screen weather animaitons when using a "custom" wallpaper in TF3D. There is a fix I am posting for this which will allow you to still have full weather animaitons thanks to Apristel!

I noticed another strange thing. I use Skype with proxy settings (as my provider "Cricket" requires them) but they don't stick. I'm not sure if it's a ROM related though... For instance I will start a Skype, then login window will show up. On the buttom of the login windows there is an option for proxy settings ("Need to configure a proxy?"). I will set proxy settings and click ok and then get a message from skype "Your changes will be applied next time you start Skype". If I quit skype and restart it the proxy settings will be erased. If I login right away sometimes I successfully connect to skype and sometimes connection will fail. When it fails and I check my proxy settings there are not there.
