Are you saying that I should have right soft button assigned to lock once I've applied the VZW keyboard fix cab? Currently I have Camera mapped to the right soft button on the home screen and I have to click (start/windows) to get to lock button, which is mapped to the left soft button.

Youtube 1.6 works great for me...I tried a my youtube 1.6 cab by it just messed it up totally. Can you help?
I found a solution to youtube and weather update problem. Use proxycap and set proxy settings there then simply erase proxy settings in main connection settings and/or any app that uses proxy. Proxycap should work with any connection but for some reason I'm still having problems with skype. I was able to connect once though. The only drawback is that once you do a soft reset it messes up connection settings. Data connection is off after reset and I have to go manually select my connection (it's still there though).

PANDORA IS NOT WORKING WITH 11-28-09[ROM] MR.X WM6.5 V1.6.5 [Build 21864] [SDConfig]
 
I am testing this ROM..it is very fast , may be the fastest , but PANDORA does not work.
Anyone got it working.......Iam getting visual c error .

Just an update JuggaloX....no matter what I throw on this rom it takes it and runs great...thanks for the work again...as soon as the holidays are over and I get back to work i will be donating....you are the man!

Have to agree with that statement...this rom is still amazing me with it's speed and stability. I have tried almost all roms available on this site and can say this 1.6.5 version is the best by far. NO problems to speak of since it's release.

does the HTC Messaging works on this meaning does it send file attachments and will the other party be able to receive the file attachments? has other rom I used which was Juicy R2 did not work. Just curious if this xrom will work fine.

yes, its a 2.1 rom not 2.5. mms works perfect as does sprint tv and everything else. highly recomend this rom if you dont want problems. lol

If I install this rom on Sprint, do I need to run the Arcsoft cab to make MMS work or will it run fine out of the box and thanks.

Just install Arcsosft and you are good to go...my most success has been with the 5.094 version..I also increase the size limit to 5mb...but I do that on all roms....

Any way you could explain to me how to do that on VZW? And where is this newer version of Arcsoft located?

I am sure we can change it on Verizon....its just a regedit....but someone correct me if I am wrong, dont they have a size limit anyways??? I think Darrenwlsn has a link in this thread....I did not like it though and reverted back to 5.094....I like 5.094 because it allows 20 recipients and combines threaded messages with pic messages...the other versions only allowed 10 and each pic mail that I recieved was a seperate message, even from the same person...

I have searched and searched and searched, here and on google. I haven't found a way to do this yet. Has anyone figured out how to adjust memory for programs, and storage? On previous Versions of windows mobile, you could go to start/settings/system/memory and slide the slider to give more memory for programs, if you use your storage card as storage, so you can use the RAM on the phone more for program memory. I have yet to find a way to adjust this on windows 6.5.

never herd of this one, im new though. i load all cabs ect on sdcard and go from there.

As the holidays dawn, im also becoming less swamped with work. So be ready for a new rom in the new year addressing any and all issues here. and ill try to throw something exciting in as well... dont want just a plain ol' bug fix release do yah?

Yee of little faith ;)

He is talking about old build of Windows Mobile (before WM5). Years ago, I remember this same question being asked. Below is a picture of it on a WM2003 I believe.

WM5 and above phones don't have this option as they are designed differently. Here is a clip from a blog which provides more detail.

Unfortunately you can't change it anymore. The reason you could in the past was that both the storage and the program memory were in RAM. The slider was just partitioning the RAM between those two places.
Now they are in different physical media. Storage is in Flash ROM and Program Memory is in RAM. There's no good way to use ROM as RAM, so there's no longer a way to change the partitioning on the fly.

Thanks for the Rom, I just installed it and like it so far. I was wondering if there is any way to use the HTC Start Menu on the Rom. I tried the mightyrom cab for this and it did nothing.

Well i know i lost a shit ton of users when i had to go A wall there last year due to some serious family issues. but im glad to see i have some interest again guys and gals. so no worries i wont leave u hanging. But i will say dont start holding your breath now as i stated it will bee in the new year. i have too much family and friend things going on right now and im in the middle of a move.
