its not possible to extract the radio from this device with out sec unlocking... which forces u to flash a patched radio to do so.

otherwise i could do it.

well i have it flashed, havnt used my device much today tho... and as for battery i flashed it on a dead battery so its still charging.

well i had better signal with the USC but like i said batt life sucked.... i do roam a little more with the SPCS 1.96 so i would imagine it would be worst with a 1.40.... i dont know

the same thing that happened when i last flashed the USC you 1st post... the utility is not for this phone.


messes up the tri color screen and it wont soft reset

i just tried but whats happening to Mayonesa happens to me..is this happening to anybody else i wanna try it but it messes up my phone :( maybe u can repack it i think its the nbh file because i extracted it & put it in a different ruu & i even tried renaming it but i couldnt get it to finish the flash

ive personally downloaded the file i uploaded, and flashed it. its fine.

no idea why the both off you have this issue.

another user has also reported he flashed it fine.

I have MightyRom and 1.96.00WF radio.
Is it possible to change NAM1 and NAM2 without reset?

I have 1.40WF running on my stock Sprint rom, everything flashed and runs fine, except (and this isn't scientific) but it feels like it drinks battery like a thirsty man in the desert. I went out for a few hours tonight with about 75% battery, and my phone didn't even make it till last call, and that was with medium usage. I plan on re-flashing with something else soon, but that's mostly because I can't get my GPS to work anymore. Anyone with info on THAT would be very helpful to me

+1 - getting the same message when I tried to flash the 1.40 radio, not sure if this will help determine what is happening, but I was able to load the RUU it updated all the way through to 100% and then when you normally get the "completed" dialog that has you click finish, I get the error message discussed earlier saying that the file couldn't load on this device.

FYI for others who may have this problem, I was able to avoid hard resetting by flashing back to one of the other radios from the screwed up bootloader screen.

Yeah, I did a flash from my storage card and I too got an error.

Edit: Could it be that I don't have my phone USA GSM unlock and being able to flash any radio?

+1 on the 1.40WF error. I just tried flashing with the RUU and it errored out after reaching 100%. (VZW TP2)

I have no problem flashing this radio on my Sprint TP2(security unlocked),but performance for this radio is no good,I'm using Sprint stock ROM,after flashing this radio,after I streaming internet radio for about 30 mins,the phone would become so lagging and slow,I have to soft reset my phone every hour if i stream music,so i flashed back to stock radio and have no problem since.

• SIM card: AT&T
• Band: GSM(1900+850)+UMTS(1900+850)

With this configuration, when the network drops I can only register manually. (no auto selection).

Is this radio more stable?

You won't be able to use your ATT sim if you flash to this radio,you need a patched radio(1.96).

It's all going to depend on your area. I always had the best luck with USC radios on my old TP. However, the Sprint 1.96 and the VZW 1.88.07 seem to be the best for me so far. (in Jacksonville, FL)

yo jugs... i cant get the 1.4 to flash... with RUU or bootloader + SD... RUU says invalid command for this phone... and BL says update falied and it terminates... i have to reflash another radio for it to boot..



What does the 6.5 test thing mean that there is a Sprint 6.5 shipped .exe leak out there?

I got 1.4 to flash just fine. 1.4 and 1.88.07 are pretty close to one another in my tests (in CA). I will keep trying them out and see which one is better or the same.

if it was corrupt it wouldn't unpack.

Im asuming that this radio is unsigned and therefore needs a full sec security and super cid to flash. seeing as ive flashed it 3 times now..... i dunno what to say.

yea so I redownloaded 1.40 and still same thing... cant flash with RUU, (i even tried a different RUU with the same nbh), cant flash via BL... i get the 390 error with RUU which is odd... no matter how I try to flash it, it kills a part of my radio spl so i gotta flash a different radio for the phone to boot.
