So if we already have the telus radio, do you think it's worth flashing the usc one? I get horrid reception here at home, but awesome at work. my only concern is not being able to flash back to stock if the others suck...

Trust me, I do understand. I went through 9 Diamonds in less than a year! Thankfully manufacturer warranty was there. LOL! Anyways, I was wondering when Juggs is getting back into the ROM game? I used a few of them on my Touch and my Diamond, they were great ROMs. Just thought I'd ask! Thanks again and thanks for watching out for the community!

if you have the telus radio stick with it. telus always proves out best battery.

i had to flash out of it to test for you guys. if i didn't id still be on it.

Well jug i just want to say i appreciate the hard work your putting in for us and sorry about the brick. I have a good question though maybe good for all the nubs around, I have sprint TP2, does this mean that if i decide to change my stock radio into a radio that you posted...do i have to go with the sprint version? or can i try any of the version to see which one fits best around my area, Im in New york City btw. I read and reread the first page 3 times. I have a sprint TP2. It is unlocked but not SIM unlocked. Can I flash the USC radio and not brick my phone.

well the links are down right now so you cant use any... the usc radio was corrupted as i found out... maybe it will be posted again

but you can flash any radio for the tp2 no matter the carrier with a rom unlock. using other phones radios will need the security unlock.

hey juggalo, i want to make sure i read correctly, the posted verizon 1.88.07WV is actually a 2.05 and the usc is corrupt so dont d/l it? if so, any issues w/tha 1.88?

i believe he took them down for further investigtion of the file content. few issues seem to be present. may want to wait on his official re-up so you dont get brickable firmware.

hi juggy, which radio did you say you like best and why? was it 2.05WV?

also, what's the difference with 2.05WV, and the 2.05WU that can be dowloaded here...

WV shouldn't be locked for sprinters who want GSM US carriers. but dont quote me im telus. i dont know what the differences is as Cmonex said she patched her WU radio. Asking her would be a better idea. Once i get resim unlocked ill let you know if the WV i posted works for me with my CSM carriers like my stock Telus did.

thanks!! will the vzw that is not ready actually be the 2.05wv? My shipped rom has this radio, but it is on verizon and i noticed that usc is the only post / link that has the same radio version?!!

the VZW and USC i think are the same radio. As ive extracted the shipped 3 times now and built a radio thats supposed to be 1.88WV only to ind it reports 2.05WV

hi juggy, so since I've already done a sim/sec/cid unlock on my vzw tp2, I should go with the 2.05WU (uscc), right? please advise.

btw, I already emailed cmonex, about some problems I'm having with the internet/data connection that keeps resetting. my question to her is, will flashing to a newer radio fix this? I dunno even what radio I have now.

im not sure if this will help your data issues. and you can use whatever radio you want. if you need US GSM network access these begin stock radios may not work for you.

I didn't understand what you just posted about GSM. yes, I have a t-mobile GSM sim card in vzw tp2 now, and I want that to continue to work both for my metropcs, metroflashed service, as well as for my tmobile gsm service. so will flashing to a different radio change that? if not, then should I go with the 2.05WU? on my vzw tp2, everything is unlocked, sim/sec/cid.

thanks, youve been extremely helpful, ill try usc radio and hopefully it will correct the issues i have been having similar to shagpal. keep getting wierd issues since hspl and sim u/l

Ok so guys, I searched this thread and no one discussed my case. So I am safe to ask.

I got my HTC Telus from a guy. I Sec/Sim unlocked it and Hard SPL. I am using it with FIDO(with a sim card, meaning GSM). So what radio should i flash ?

you should keep the same radio unless your having issues. per juggz reply earlier:or use the usc radio, he does believe that it is the better of the choices

My radio eats a lot of my battery and has bad reception.

So I should go with the USC radio?

How come there are only so few radios whereas in the XDA GSM, They have more?

When I had my GSM kaiser, there were around 25 different radios.

I am searching for a good radio for Reception and GPS lock

start, settings, system, device info, software info. There you can see you Radio.
