I've got to know... will it be possible to modify the radio on my Telus TP2 to use the Telus GSM/UMTS (mainly UMTS)?????
If there is a chance of this happening, I will give 40 bucks up front and another 60 or so on completion. and I am sure others would follow.

i tried the 1.88.7 and it was no good for me... 2.05 is by far the best for me now... it is a bit batt hungry but its ok with me... i just keep an eye on my use and make sure to turn data off when i dont need it.
till something else is out i think i will stay with this one... i dont think the others will do help me out..

Well, with no answer on the SPCS radio.... I said F it and went ahead and flashed it. It seems to be working well with no adverse effects on battery or reception. It's not much different than both VZW radios, but definitely better than the USC radio here in Jacksonville.
