I know within the program it will show the actual battery; but that's not my final goal.

Ultimately, I need something to display as 1%, so that when my phone is locked on the S2U2 screen, I can know the exact battery %. The battery is always on, on the S2U2 screen; as that's the most important variable to me. I'd like to know if I'm 29% full, as opposed to 21% full. That will affect how I use my phone until I can get home to charge it. Does that make sense?

If that program can do that, I have no problem checking it out. Thanks!
I wouldn't put a whole lot of faith in any 1% battery driver. None of the ones I have used anyway. I have found them inaccurate and sporadic.

If you are not a extremely heavy user, and you make it home every so often, battery life won't be a problem with this rom. For me, battery life is one of the biggest factors in choosing a rom, and this one is tops.

Nope, I like 2.1

Anyway to change the contact screen in 2.1 to "widgets" like 2,5? This is realy nice for business users that have need for quick access to say 25 contacts (or 16 + 20 in 2,5 with Manilla cab )

Also...is there a cab for World Card Mobile since you removed it..I use it all the time. Thanks...

**In addition...since this is an exe file...do I just run it like a normal piece of software?

Thanks for the input. Indeed, I'm glad it just wasn't me. When I used Mighty's for the past 2 weeks, I noticed displays that I thought were *odd* to say the least. On one specific night, I remember going to bed at 5x%, and it was dead the next morning. Which is the only time it's ever died on me.

I'm not a heavy user, I'm a moderate user. The problem is I leave at about 7am, and don't get home until almost 7pm. If I don't have to make any calls, over 50% easy. However once I start making calls, I drop below 30% quickly. It's nice to know at that point exactly how much % I have left.

Will check out the suggestions and report back. Thanks guys.

Yup, just like software. It will extract into a temp file and launch the RUU.

Anyway, Is there anyway to get the my location working without having to hit the quick GPS everytime?

I need to know how to disable mylocation all together and just put a set location on the homepage.

That would be great, thanks in advance.

Cfay...any way to modify/add the contact tab to be more like manilla 2.5 (multiple contact pics)? If that were possible, this would probably be the best ROM to stay with IMHO...please let me know.

I am really partial to 2.5 because of that one feature...I know you like 2.1 (and its your ROM, so I respect that)...but the contact widgets would be super cool, could that be cooked in somehow?

...Thanks...Good Job Dude!

chas - i'm not even sure what the push links do lol i'll have to read up about them but i've basically just made bookmarks in opera and from that same Internet screen, the left soft key is bookmarks and can click directly to any of your opera bookmarks ... i'm not sure if thats what you were looking for by shortcuts to various web pages ... hope that will work for you.

Go to your internet page, hit menu, data settings, and make sure push is turned off. Also go to the registry-

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\TaskManager\Termina teProcess

Create a new DWORD:
Opera9.exe
and set its value to 0

Also go to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\HTC\TaskManager\Exclusi veList\System

and delete anything that says Opera

note:
There is no space in either Exclusivelist or TerminateProcess. This is the way Ceregistry editor rolls with copy and paste

I took my phone off the charger yesterday at 5 p.m. when I went out for dinner. This morning at 9:30 it was at 90%. I listened to a few songs, and made one call. Aside from that it was asleep that whole time.
