CFay great ROM as the first installment. I've been running this exclusively since Juicy went to the manilla with the icons on the main page. Man i hate that layout.

Anyway, Is there anyway to get the my location working without having to hit the quick GPS everytime?

I need to know how to disable mylocation all together and just put a set location on the homepage.

That would be great, thanks in advance.

First and foremost i love your username lol im from New Orleans, damn Katrina. My Location should work w.o having to use Quick GPS everytime. If it doesnt work the first time try to hit update again and it should go.

i used to think that too, till i actually tried a rom with icons on the tab. doesnt this rom have this? thats what the screenshots of the rom is on the first page arent they?

edit: or where you talking about htc sense 2.5? with the shortcut icons ion the home tab?

Loving the rom so far CFay; great work. I'm testing most of them, and once I make a decision to stick with one - the winner gets my donation. Right now you are the frontrunner.

One issue to address: the 1% battery display. That's critical for me. I searched the thread and only saw a user requesting it for your next upgrade. I installed the MightyMike 1% cab; but it didn't work. Apologies if this has been answered, but I searched and didn't see it. TIA for any responses. Great rom.

Any way to get the push links on the inernet tab working? I don't use push, but I would like to use them as shortcuts to various web pages

Thanks for the suggestion; I have heard of that program, and looked at it before. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but while it's a very detailed program (more than I need actually); it doesn't actually make it 1% increments, does it? I know within the program it will show the actual battery; but that's not my final goal.

Ultimately, I need something to display as 1%, so that when my phone is locked on the S2U2 screen, I can know the exact battery %. The battery is always on, on the S2U2 screen; as that's the most important variable to me. I'd like to know if I'm 29% full, as opposed to 21% full. That will affect how I use my phone until I can get home to charge it. Does that make sense?

If that program can do that, I have no problem checking it out. Thanks!

I use this - works for me.

I use the windows lock though, not sure about compatibility with s2u2

Edit:
It's just the battery meter/icon...the no2chem thing is what makes 1% increments possible (youd have to install both)

Is the "FInixNOverBatteryIconsOnly.cab" a standalone install? Also, do the colors work on the TP2 default battery bar? That would be neat. Will definitely check this out tonight. Many thanks.
