alright ... a few minutes ago .. i had my phone hooked up to to my laptop ... it was fully charged .. then mayb liike 20 minutes later ... my lights started flashing green red orange repeatidly one after another ... and when i felt my back cover it was HOTTTT ... so im guessin it was overheating lol .. ROM is great Cfay ... i noticed when i installed a good bit of software .. then last but not least the s2u2 .... i got to a point where it wouldnt boot ... it would sit at the boot up screen .. then finally 3 minutes later it tells me i had to hard reset and clean my device ... any give or takes becuz in the error message it said "it seems youve installed a third-party app that is causing your device not to boot up" "try resetting or hard reset your device" somethin like that .......... so i hard reset .. twice ... seems to have worked this time ... but now my battery is burning up when my phones not in sleep mode

chas123 - nevermind i found the forum thread on this tweak, however, the thread states that Opera9.exe should be set to 1 (and not 0) as you mentioned ... not sure if this was a typo on your part or what exactly? i tried both set at 0 and 1 and they both seem to have the same performance gains. on that note, THANKS for mentioning this tweak ... its like night and day! before my resources would slam to 75-80% within 1 hour of messing around with my phone and stay there ... now my resources are idling at low 60's% after playing with the phone.

I really like this rom considering there is not much to getting MMS going as I am accustom to... I mean like real MMS not using email to send the darn thing...

The only thing I wish was different on this rom is the fact that Programs are windows default and not customized, I am working on getting this customized to my liking through cab files and such... does this rom have MortScript?

Runs very smooth and I really enjoy this rom out of all the ones out there

Yep. Sorry about the typo. It should be set to 1 if you want the x button to close Opera.

I've got to say that I was a huge fan of Energy, Mighty, and Juicy roms, but lately this is the best rom out there. I've tried them all, both 21xxx and 23xxx versions, and nothing runs as solidly as this rom. Whether it's battery life (which is amazing compared to Energy especially) or pure stability I can't find anything that works as well, and trust me, I've tried'em all (I'm one of those laid-off Michigan guys with nothing better to do). Just wanted to say great job. Thanks!

hi - i was wondering if anyone is seeing odd caller id history behavior? basically whenever someone call's me, the caller id shows up correctly, however, whenever i hang up sometimes the carller id contact is replaced with a random person in my contacts and not the actual person who called. the actual number remains correct but the contact name is wrong. i'm seeing this maybe 1 out of 4 calls or so.

this happened even with the stock rom i hate it but if there is a fix i would love to get it..

hi mark - tnx for the info. with that said, i noticed on the HTC site there is a hotfix patch for caller id .. it doesnt really have a description as to what it fixes, but maybe it fixes this.
