chas123 - so i digged into the registry and seems that push internet has been sort of disabled on this rom (3 out of the 4 reg changes have been made in the rom) which is why i guess you noticed push doesnt work.

cfay would have to confirm if disabling push internet was his intent?

but basically i went ahead and made the 4th change to complete disabling push internet in the rom since i dont care to use it and it seems partially implemented in any case ... now i idle around mid to high 50% in resources (vs low to mid 60% with simply the opera tweak).

4th change: HKCU\Software\HTC\HTCSENSOR\GSensor\ModuleName,
name="Opera" value="\Windows\OperaL.exe"

What did the thread say that would do? It looks as though that setting would control whether or not Opera uses the Gsensor to auto rotate. I could see where this might free up resources if Opera were running in the background, but, if you did the other tweaks, I don't see where it would matter.

your inference is somewhat correct ... basically without this disabled, opera is still held in memory even after the opera tweak (though its not visible via the task manager and after 'x' close) bc the gsensor holds it in memory. this is the reason it frees up some more resources after implementing the change. basically, if you launch the internet, and you load a few pages and do a few rotations into landscape mode, the memory held will build up on your phone and wont be released in theory bc of the opera gsensor hold. after implementing the change, everything opera is now dumped from memory, but the downside is, every opera launch now takes a few more seconds to load and will reload the htc home page; this is really a user preference ... i prefer more free memory and avoiding soft resets if possible.

I also noticed that there is something wrong with the weather update, it keeps disappearing from the main and the weather page even after updating.

No you dont, simply refresh the page and it will say wait 2 minutes and it will let you download it.

Yes my next release will incorporate this fix. For now use the cab that was released until my next release. As for weather I havnt experienced this but I am updating all my EXT's next build so that should resolve that.

I am having a problem with the notification light blinking continuously whenever I receive an email or text, even though I do not have it selected in the notifications settings. I tried the fix listed by ace10134 over in the Energy ROM Photon thread (post 6) but that didn't work for me. Does anyone have a suggestion for how I can get the notification light to stop blinking? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

CFay, I ran SKTools and found That TeleNav is missing a plugin called TeleNavPlugin.dll. I searched around the forum and found that this enables you to navigate to a contact directly from the contacts application. Here is a cab with the fix http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...87#post1308387

Great rom Cfay. I have tried all others and I keep coming back to yours. Keep up the good work! I also made a ROM flag for others to use in their signatures. Its not the best but it works!
