Looks like that error code means youre trying to connect without having internet access. Try starting opera first then opening google maps. Apparently google maps uses the gprs connection and not just gps.

Anyone having connection issues with marketplace app on the 21892 |Feb 16| ROM? I sometime get it to connect for a few seconds and then get a "marketplace connection error would you like to retry?" WiFi and 3G both the same.. Thank you

I get issues with marketplace connecting all the time. I dont think its the rom as much as its marketplace itself.

You're right, move on, I did read the entire post, I guess I just don't see how "she started it" is such an easy way to condone return jabs. If I would've said "but she started it!" to my Dad he would said "and you should have let it end there" lol! that actually sounds about right in my case. It will find 1 and get no locks. Then it will start finding 4 or 5 with no locks. Then 1 will finally lock. Then i will get a few other locks. I hope you kept it running, because in my case, that is when it starts kicking in.

At any rate, this is just what i do to get it working and it has worked every time. Wish i could be more help.

Oh yeah, BTW, the location setting is on the settings tab. You may need to scroll to see it.

*Edit* none of my GPS apps work unless i wait for the initial lock. In the case where i could find 1 satelite with no lock and stopped it to check other apps...didn't work. i tried a variety of different things. The only thing that works for me is to wait for the lock and it can take longer than 15 minutes exactly - it just seems to typically take about that long. Good luck!

Does the PocketNester work on you guys phone? I follow the instruction to the point it said click OK button on the right top corner. BUT there is no Button there to click. just got stuck right there. reboot didn't help.
