Problem with sending SMS. The messages stay in Outbox without delivering. Have no problem receiving SMS though. Calling and receiving calls is working fine.

How do I fix this?
You flash a diff rom. Sorry.

Been Nrg addict through and through but these are the buggiest drops yet. Fanboys will be defensive but I have been one of the biggest NRG fanboys for quite awhile so I feel I am justified in saying this. I am not new to any of this and I can't figure it out. No sms for me happens at random after flashing on ALL jan 20 builds. I have muti flash danced this thing and ran stock for awhile to try to clear it up but same song every dance. No provisioning, no mms without funny stuff, no windows live without funny stuff, lockups, and MEM DRAIN supreme.......did I mention the time zone not being right off the flash? I am sure a few peeps just can not believe these problems exist and have 50 reasons how I am wrong... it seems basic stability is less desired than eye candy.

I use cleanRam (a must have free tool) to take care of the wicked memory leak in WM6.5.xx

http://www.htcaddicts.com/?id=110

I set the scheduler to auto clean every hour and now I haven't had any issues since.

This is how I did it. Disable Sense (under Settings-->Home), select your Ringtone, call your phone to make sure it rings, if it doesn't reset your phone and try again, reset, enable Sense, and it should ring now. Mine has been working fine since...

Try a hard reset.. Then Use the disable HTC Messaging cab, then soft reset.. Then go to the messaging tab, click all messages, then hit the menu and go to MMS options, then click the CDMA servers. Double click the server name. Make sure the port is 80, server address should be http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms Connect Via: The Internet.. The send limit is gonna be low so you have to go to the registry editor to change this and I posted that a few pages back.. This is what I do for all NRG roms and I am with sprint. I can send and receive up to 5mb.

Clean Ram has been locking up on me on the last 10 or so NRG Roms.. Is there any special settings you set up.. I just played with it and I have to softrest everytime..

just make sure you add manilla.exe to the exceptions list in the cleanRAM settings.... other than that I just set it to level 2 and turn on automactically clean every hour
