after i flash the rom...do i have to manually run RomUpdateUtility frm my PC to install the ROM? or does it ask me to run it?

Jan 20 23xxx build was a little too buggy for me. Jan 14th was more stable. I don't really care about max manila, but the Jan 20 build without it is missing the htc volume control, and my weather animation will not work. Texts seem really messed up too.

EDIT: Just figured out that it was the custom taskbar I installed that caused the HTC volume control to not work. But this is still a biggie for me, because I am definitely not a fan of the new taskbar.

The main reason I'm asking - is because I remember the messaging client to be really buggy/slow during one of the earlier versions of this ROM. Just wondering if the speed has improved, if the MMS is even working.

1) Been using the ROM for only a few minutes - and noticed an issue already. When I select "OTHER: Miscellaneous settings" from the settings tab in TF3D, my phone locks up.

2) Does the regular 1% battery driver work for this ROM? And if so, does the current icon set support 1% battery increments?

for sprint tp2... wat network setting shud i use? becuz its not connecting to the net for MyPhone to retrieve my contacts and texts... shud i leave it in AUTO mode or wat?..

anyone having a problem with the landscape mode with keyboard out?

my situation: slide keyboard out, screen switches to landscape for a few seconds then it switches back to vertical.

however i can rotate it perfectly fine without the keyboard slid out.

also when i load the messaging... some of the messaging gets overritten over the dates so i cant see the message... and some of the messages are not full... is there a cab to fix that? Thanx

But noticed another lock up after I tried logging into twitter .... I may just flash back to Mighty

I currently have EnergyROM_23518_RHOD500_20.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5_M axManila.rar on my TP2.
- I executeed Youtube and Youtube popped up and disappeared.
- I installed new youtube that I downloaded on its website awhile ago. Executed and video loaded, but got internal error. then it stopped loading.

I gave up with Youtube application, and hit directly to http://m.youtube.com to watch youtube video. it worked like a champ. video wasn't as sharp as youtube application though because it's not standardized yet (read the source below). At least it worked.

I read a source from gizmodo.com that Google now doesn't require Flash to watch Youtube video any more. COOLIO.

I guess it's time for NRG stops cooking Youtube application in the ROM.

Dude, I am total noob as I just started flashing last Sunday. However I read three different forums for about 3 weeks prior to doing so. You need to really go back and read through like the last 50 - 100 pages. I know that may sound funny but you are asking the same questions that people have asked in previous posts. I read every post in this thread and others that have to do with the problems I am experiencing. There is also this handy dandy search feature. You have NO idea what you are doing. You cannot go back to stock sprint just by hard resetting.

I'm not trying to be rude and perhaps I woke on the wrong side of the bed, but ALL of your questions have answers in this forum. I hope Energy works for you as I am loving build 1/14. I would recommend you download that version with 21889. You will have less problems but you will need to go back to around post 595 I beilieve to start seeing remedies for that release.

I plan on flashing 1/20 tonight, but again 1/14 has been out longer and I am having NO problems with it besides the terribly annoying rotating screen mentioned above. When in landscape mode already and I slide out the keyboard it rotates again to portrait. HIGHLY ANNOYING. Anyone know a fix for this? I've searched and cannot find.
