I have Verizon. I made the mistake of telling my phone to do internet sharing when the usb to pc pop-up came up. Now USB to PC pop-up doesn't come up anymore, it just goes straight to internet sharing, and I have to reset my phone to be able to use opera because it tries to shove verizon's tethering service down my neck by not allowing me to browse to any sites on opera on the phone. Any suggestions? Oh, and I already installed the cab that Mighty Mike posted in the TP2 tweaks thread to "stealth tether" and it doesn't work. At this point, I don't care, I just want USB to PC popup to come back.

Next time you are in Internet Sharing....connect and then make sure you press disconnect...pressing the disconnect should solve your problem...

To reanable the USB to PC popup, try to open the program in Start -> Settings -> Connections -> USB to PC and click the box, "Ask me first about USB connection type..."

I don't have this exact rom, but the command to open the program is called, HTCUSBTOPCPopUp.exe according to task manager so you can look for that in the Windows folder if you can't find it above...

Tried that. It's stuck in internet sharing mode everytime I connect the usb cable.
