the answer to your question is in post#1. but since you asked, here the short answer, 6.5 is the latest official release from microsoft. 6.5.1 is more finger friendly but it's still in beta stage there for, you should expext some bug in it. As for 2.5, its htc manila/sense UI. it's ported from htc leo/HD2. still got some bugs, only photo and music work in landscape and i believe there still not a completed fix for MMS vie manilla. 2.5 got more feature than 2.1. anyone welcome to correct me if i'm wrong.

^ Sorry, I haven't left EST since I got my TP2 so I don't know if it works for me or not.

Is there a way to change the soft keys on the home tab in Manila? I'd like to change the left key from the Action screen to the camera, but the registry edit that used to work in previous versions of Manila doesn't seem to work. It'll change the text that shows but pressing the key does nothing. Only when the keys are empty does it work, but only for the default application.

Regarding the time zone issue I haven't seen it switch automatically. If you want it to change all you need to do is:
Click on the clock
Choose "Add city"
Choose a city that is in your time zone
Select that city to be your clock
It may send you back to the home screen if so, click the cloak again
If it doesn't go to the home screen and click the clock again
Choose My location
And now your location should indicate the correct time
Its more of a work around than a fix, but yea, atleast the time is right!
Other than that I haven't had it change while switching Time Zones.

Now regarding the action button, I read of a way of changing it somewhere let me look around again, if I find it I'll post it. You do know theres a camera shortcut available in the Action page and one that you can link into the shortcuts of the homepage right? Just checking
