Yea....that would be your SMS. That's why you disable the Manila Messaging client. And as he said above, he's not having any issues.

How you reply with a simple answer is, you type in "Yes", and then you enter 10 spaces, and then put a "." (period). That's what I do!

Eh, Manila Messaging slows down with a few SMS's though, so it soon becomes unusable.

Uhm, well I was gonnna go 2 11/3 but now my phone wont connect to the computer, it will charge off the wall but not link or charge off the comp? So I'm kinda screwed for any further flashing?

im on the 6.5.1 nov 3 rom and i tried option 1 for the mms fix, i recieved the message and it asked me if i wanted to download, i pressed yes and i got the message "unable to download media message"

I found that sms messaging the htc icon 1, will stay running under the task manager, check apps..and processes..once I close the sms app..no problem no matter how many messages I have sent or recieved

We told you to use the FAQ.........not option 1.

MMS Fix

1. First, you must Disable Manila Messaging.
2. Then, just install the correct MMS fix:
   • Verizon - Install THIS CAB
   • Sprint - Install THIS CAB

You can flash through SD Card, which isn't as dependant on the computer

in the faq is a fix to get mms to work....... and im sure theres a bunch of other goodies in there.....

tried option 1 mms fix and i just get a unable to send error when i send through manila 2.5

i tried to go into mms server settings, but didnt see anything to change..can anyone confirm the verizon settings for mms server??
