Resco doesn't let you exclude specific files, but I think SPB does. Exclude the ones in the error log that are causing the issue - usually they're being locked by the system. Also, you can manually kill s2u2 and disable manila and kill other running processes yourself to ensure that its done properly.

Also, try MS My Phone. I think it lets you do registry too.

Attempted that and made sure that the processes were killed and still got the same error message. Attached i put the log that i received perhaps it can help someone help me.

Mine did that as well, found out I could not hear any music either. I restored back to a previous backup 2 hours before hand and it worked fine. I assumed it was one of wrong cabs I used for no curtains, etc. Wrong version. It has been fine since.

At the beginning mine worked just fine. I haven't add anything out of this world. And what i did add i uninstall and still nothing. I wish i would have used spb before when it was working. Anywho, Anyone so happens to bump into this problem and finds a fix. Please post. thanks in advance...

How does the mms work? it keeps giving me a download error when i try and download the content

i get pretty much the same error message w/ mostly twitter using spb backup. but i havent noticed if it really matters or not. i did do a restore even thou i had those errors on the backup but everything restored fine w/ no probs. so you might not have to worry bout it. and it doesnt matter what rom im on i get the same "twitter" error. \

so i suggest do a full backup...you will get the "twitter" error mainly. also do a pim (custom) backup just to save your contacts (thats what i do at least) and when you flash back to the rom you backed up then just restore and it should go fine (dont 4get a hard reset as norm. b4 you do the restore)

ok so ill be easy w/ you...kinda. did you search?

in the tp2 section look for (search) for mms fix. there are 2 threads elephant fix and another.

lastly its not a rom issue but more of a sprint problem. its only us on sprint that cant get it to work directly from the htc messaging tab. there are workarounds w/ arcsoft. or "bandaids" as another user put it.

but come on...search for it cuz its been brought up, posted more times than any1 wants to count!

Actually i downloaded the fix but when i did the arcsoft mms it screwd thigns up, now everythings all buggy and the elephant fix wont even install.

Did you try my fix ? 6227 Follow those steps see if it works for you. Also you must uninstall elephant and arcsoft before trying it.
Should work fine as long as you follow steps. Some others have said it not to work. I have received many /tells with positive feed back. Good Luck...
