What do you guys use to quickly adjust screen brightness?

Going to settings...all settings...system...power...screen brightness tab...using the tiny annoying made for stylus slider... is not what I want to be doing every time. Any widgets or quick programs that can do it without all the hassle?

I found one simple homemade one but it still has the tiny crappy slider and it resets my backlight options (like time to dim and suspend) every time I use it.

I use lumos. it's an auto adjust program using the light sensor. Works well for me.

Re: [ROM] [12/09/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R6 (21884) [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]

Is there a way to have the Task Manager icon in the corner always rather than having the "X" or "OK" there? I NEED an easier way to switch between programs than having to hit the END button to be able to switch apps.

Or even a Task Switcher like they have on the Blackberries or Android devices. Like being able to hold the Windows button down to pop up a small window with your running apps.

Hope someone has an idea because this is the one thing that I can't stand about WM multitasking lol.

GOT MMS working native HTC, thanks to another thread on the forum for pointing out the critical reg branch.

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=101286

I just got this working on Telus (now can send thru Native HTC MMS), Juicy R4:

Created regkeys under:

HKLM\Software\Jataayu\MMS\Profiles\

New Key = 002

Create new string "ActiveProfileCDMA" = 002
Copy contents of key 001 to key 002 (GSM settings to new CDMA)

HKLM\Software\Jataayu\Messaging\PredefinedPort
New DWORD Telus = 80

HKLM\Software\Jataayu\Messaging\MMS\Profile\

New Key= CDMA
Copy contents of key GSM to key CDMA

Works!

PS: you must have your correct settings already input for Telus MMS (ie working outside of HTC MMS)

Re: [ROM] [12/09/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R6 (21884) [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]

it seems that i've installed something that makes the slider on the lockscreen skinny/thin. is there a way to make it fat/thick again with a simple cab or edit? i want to keep everything i've installed, so i'm looking for a way to get it back to being a big button without having to give up my programs/hacks.

I still don't understand why HTC/Microsoft hasn't implemented something like Lumos into their ROMs yet. It's THAT MUCH better than the half-assed backlight control built into 6.5.

+1 for Lumos. Get it here:

There is already a task manager there. I always change it to where you have to hold the X to close a program while simply hitting X minimizes it. Of course, in Opera 10, you can't see any menus, so I figured out that if you just hit the Windows button on the phone (not on the screen; the one next to the talk button on the phone), it will bring you to the Start menu and you can just hit Today to go back to TF3D.

If you don't like the Quick Task manager, you can use the one from the Xperia X2, I've attached it.

Do you mean the built-in Windows lock slider? That's odd, I wouldn't think it would be easily modifyable; it is supposed to adhere to federal security standards.
