I just did a *228 twice with options 1 and 2 and reran the test and got 9kb

my process was hard reset, skip carrier provisioning, *22899 (or *228 opt 1) and the only things I have installed as we speak are:

Opera Mini Beta 5

Juicy, you da man! Tapping the BT option in the CommManager now launches the BTManager app, which it wasn't doing in R1. This is a huge time saver. Many thanks!!!

Guess I will hardreset tomorrow, whats the procedure again?

to hard reset goto the settings tab and choose "security" and "factory reset" then enter 1234 to confirm.

Upon initial boot my process was skip carrier provisioning, then dial *22899 (or *228 opt 1)

Settings tab > Security > Factory Reset

how do you do this? The only thing I've seen makes it so when you tap the sms in manilla, it takes you directly to the native wm app. Unfortunately, however it messes up the sms messages when viewing via manilla from landscape...
