I've been staying as up-to-date as possible reading this thread daily. Have I overlooked a fix/answer to this... if so, sorry. I remember seeing some comments right after R2 was released. Somewhere around page 81ish. I have Verizon, ever since the R2 update I seem to have horrible reception. Are the signal bars just faking me out and the reception is actually better than what the phone is showing? Seems I read it is showing only 5 bars for signal strength instead of 7.

Everyone I talk to continues to state I go in and out often... as if I have a very low signal (which agrees with what the phone is showing). The TP2 has also started dropping calls in my home, which it never occurred prior to flashing. I've never had dropped calls at my house, I have had full service with all other phones. My trusty old treo is sitting on my desk right now, it is showing full signal, the TP2 is varying back and forth between 1 and 2 bars. It is also showing constant data usage since the R2 install too. I know it can't be using data nonstop or my battery would be dying.

I am not criticizing, just trying to find out if it is just my phone... if so I need to get a replacement.

Is anyone using the Verizon Visual Voicemail app with this rom? I downloaded the latest version of the app, and no matter which "audio output" i check it always plays the voicemails out the speakerphone speaker. Also I get text messages showing up in my inbox instead of it hiddenly triggering the app there is a new VM.

Sorry if this has been asked... I did a lot of searching

I don't have a technical answer, but from a user standpoint, I have VZW and R2 works great, calls and all.

the rom doesnt touch the radio. so reception should not be affected what so ever.
