As soon as I was done flashing this ROM, one of the first things I did was open Opera & make sure my data worked & it was fine. I have never even had to reactivate a phone after flashing & even if you do (*228 option 1) it only takes a minute anyway. ~John |

Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
i have sum questions also to make flashing/hard reseting easier for myself which would also help others w/ xda_uc in mind
saving information such as contact card, weather, push internet, email accounts and the such. i can find the reg keys on the ones i posted but how would i export it to save and be able to use those w/ xda_uc this is what i have gotten from around sumwhere: -contact card: HKCU\Software\HTC\People\OwnerInfo -weather cities: HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\Weather.CityList -world clock cities: HKCU\Software\HTC\Manila\WorldClock.CityList so agian once i find the keys how would i save it or make it a file that XDA_UC would recognize thanks for the help and any other reg. keys that would be useful to save for the next great juicy R* ROM |
Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
also i have some programs already installed on my SD card in programs so is there a way, instead of putting the cab in the XDA_UC folder to install can i make a file to just make a shortcut in the start menu and put that file in the xda_uc folder and how?
thanks for any help |

Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
Great ROM!
I have one issue though. I am not able to record both sides of a phone call. I was able to do that with the original ROM, and even a couple of custom ROMs, but not this one. Can any one advise? |
Wirelessly posted (Opera/9.7 (WindowsMobile; PPC; Opera Mobi/35541; U; en; Presto/2.1.1))
I was running R2 and nowR3 and this ROM is working great, very smooth and responsive, but I am unable to see photo albums from contacts i have linked with their facebook account. Not sure if this was a problem with R2 but I am able to open their contact no problem and see all the info associated with their contact but when i click open photo album to see which photos they have on their profile it apparently doesnt download. Not sure if anyone has come across this but any help would be appreciated. Other than that this ROM is sweet, thanks juicy!!!!! |

for the reg files, i used wince cab manager to turn it into a cab. i attarached it along with sdconfig builder. in wince make sure at the first prompt you give the cab a name instred of "your application name". but thats only if you plan on making mre than once cab. cuz when u install thme it will try to uninstall the ohter ones by the same name. if thats not the case you can put all the reg files u want into one cab and theyll all install together. i seperated all mine tho jus for easier organizing. go to file, import, and find your reg filees that u saved and import them. then u can jus make the cab. With sd config you can turn reg files, XMLs and ini files into cabs also but tahs self explanatory. all the drop down boxes are on one screen. enjoyy http://www.badongo.com/file/12981947 for wince |
Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
For anybody having the unable to log into the newly changed Sirius radio problem, I have found a solution:
The app "SelectRadio" works perfectly for Sirius. The price on it is ridiculous ($25 for one PPC & it's not transferrable unless it's a warranty replacement) but I bought it on the spot after trying it. I listen to channel 124/the NFL channel every day at work & listening through Skyfire works but was not a legit option for me. It is a ROYAL PITA to sign in with Skyfire, the sound quuality blows, it skips & buffers a lot & it KILLS your battery. SR gets around all these things somehow. It saves favs & all I have to do is open the app & with one click I am connected to my channel (I don't know how they managed it, but you don't even have to type in a captcha). The program does TONS of other things like Podcasts etc but all i care about is Sirius & it works AWESOME for that. ~John |

Does anybody have a reg file that I can import that has the Auto A, Auto-B, roaming only options in the phone. I had the reg file for the Touch pro I'd import if I encountered on a rom like this, but I dont think it will work with all these new options

Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
Is anybody using PowerSMS with this ROM??
This is one of my favorite programs but I can't get it to work right. When I schedule an SMS, it comes through fine & goes into the default Windows messaging (not the manila app). The problem is, I get no notification whatever that it is there. If I open messaging, the text is there but I get no taskbar notification & no audio signal even though I get notifications just fine if someone else sends me a text?? ~John |
Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging 1.2.CAB does not work for me. It simply makes the text section not respond to a click. My problem is that I have people with over 100 text messages and it takes forever to load so I can send a new message. Is there a way to limit the number of messages it will load to say the last 10 or something? That would speed up the SMS by a ton.

One of the features of PowerSMS is to schedule a text to go out at a specific time. I use the feature all the time to send myself a text as a reminder of something I don't want to forget to do etc. This is MUCH easier than scheduling an event in the calendar app. The problem is, the text/reminder is coming in to me but it gives no indication whatever that it has arrived. It does not give a task bar notification or audio alert & it does not show a text bubble on the messaging icon like it should. I thought it wasn't working at all, but then I realized all the reminders where there just sitting in the WM messaging inbox. ~John |
Re: [ROM] [15/11/09] Juicy Rhodium_W R3 [SENSE UI] [XDA_UC]
I am LOVING this ROM. I just got my Verizon TP2 on Tuesday (FedEx delivery at 6PM) and the first thing I did was flash a new ROM. I didn't really like it so yesterday I found this one and it is by far the best ROM I have used on any phone. I love the simplicity of it and the fact that it is so official-looking.
I have another couple of weeks left on my AT&T contract, so after getting my TP2 SIM unlocked by Verizon Tuesday night, I was able to pop in my AT&T SIM card and make/receive calls. After an online chat session with AT&T yesterday I was able to get AT&T data working (very slow since no 3G but still there). So far, my only issue (I have not tried any MMS) with this ROM is the Internet tab: the Favorite Shortcuts default to IE and not Opera. The list of available Favorites are only the ones stored in IE and if I choose one of those and try to launch it, it still launches in IE even though Opera is set as the default browser. Opera launches when I select "Launch Browser" globe icon. I am using default Opera 9.7 included with the ROM. Anyone know of a registry tweak (or have it in a .cab file) to make the Favorite Shortcuts launch in Opera? |
