ok i installed this cab.
then went into my email tab, tap inbox, menu, pics/video options
click on cdma servers and tap on samplemmsc2
make sure you have port 80 and server is "http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms"
mine says connect via "sprint" ( i installed the juicy sprint cab, the one that appears just after flash )
and send limit is 5000k

then using total commander
open total commander, tap plugins, registry, hlkm, software, arcsoft, arcsoft mms ua, config, mm1, mmscsetting and go into each of the mmsc folders (i have 3, samplemmsc, samplemmsc2, and sprintmmsc

in each of them you will see 4 items that start with wap (wap1recvdefault, wap1senddefault, ect.) make sure ALL are set to "5120000"
restart ppc

after this you should be able to send from album, by going to your pic tab, tapping on a pic, tap and get the dot with the arrows, tapping that will make 3 options come up, tap mail, then picture messaging.

recieving is through the email tab, inbox, swipe from right to left to get to the sms/mms section. and tap on the message.

This is the exact same basic procedure I did to get MMS working with Verizon (SMS always worked)

it never made much sense to me why anybody would want to cr@p up this awesome ROM by installing a buggy laggy program like this to it.

I tried Max for a few days & absolutely hated it.......

The ONLY good thing about it that I could maybe see was the extra home screen icons (& I didn't even like that really) but that is available separately & works MUCH better that way than installing the whole app.....

It should, I am on Verizon so I can't test it. This is how I got VZ MMS working:

Within TF3D Messages>All Messages>Menu>Settings>Options>Menu>MMS Server>SampleMMSC:
Ip is left blank
Port #: 80
Server Address: http://mms.vtext.com/servlets/mms
Connect Via: Verizon Wireless
Send Limt: 1024kb
Wap Vers: WAP 2.0

I'm using SMS just fine through TF3D and when sending MMS, either go into winmo side or your photo album and send MMS that way. It opens up the old winmo texting and sends/receives just fine for me. Winmo will work for sms too.

I also had to make an additional registry change before I could successfully send an MMS msg using WM messaging. I had to add a key to HKLM/Software/Arcsoft/ArcSoft MMS UA/Config/mm1/WspHeader. You need to add a String named "x-vzw-mdn". The value is your phone # (********). Soft reset, and then I was able to send MMS messages.

1. I love your ROM for the simplicity of it plus the advancement also. Its stock looking but yet its a sleeper with twin turbos (blazing fast too). This is a ROM for the professonials.

2. WinMo, what can I say it lets you be your own... Custom how you like.

Is this also true of this ROM?

If so, is anyone working on a way to either:

Speed up the loading of HTC Messaging (perhaps by archiving old messages or some hack to allow you to type as it loads)

or

Restore WM Client to the default text client with proper threading and click through support (like the Manila SMS disabler for Manila 2.1)

When I disabled the HTC messaging the WM messaging was threading my SMS conversations, what do you mean by proper threading?
