Yes. Was like this for R6 too.. I didn't think much of it to be honest, everything appeared to be working fine.

I can't get the phone to vibrate...for anything since the update. I also just lost my contacts after a soft reset (contacts synced with google via activesync).

Have you tried clicking the arrow beside the keyboard selection and chosing Swype?

Try using a program like SKTools to set Swype to default input method and soft reset. It works fine for me.

I made all these setting changes and I still get the message 'Unable to send message'.

I flashed back to the Verizon Stock ROM and MMS works fine but when I go to look at the MMS settings I can't open them to view them.

Flash back to R7 and make these changes with no success.

Any thoughts?

I'm gonna stick to R6, seems like R7 was a balancing act like Juicy said and now that I've put in my 2 cents on issues, I'll go back to the most recent stable build and allow for Juicy to do his thing in getting an eventual R8 up and running.

So many things right with the rom though! Speedy!
Did you guys install Opera 10 beta 2U?

If so, the U version is what is causing the sound corruption. Uninstall it and go back to beta 2. That should fix it.

Argh, so that's what's causing the corruption on R7. I currently have R6 flashed now, and 2u installed and I'm hearing my text and call ringtones/alerts just fine.
