The only stuff I have installed would be AutoLock 1.6, Sprint MMS, Sprint PRL Update, 7Bar Signal Strength & SPB Soft Reset. I tried the same thing as last time and called RCN, but this time, did not run into the same problem. Maybe it was a one time incident. Then again, the last time I was in the city, this time in the burbs, but I don't that would have anything to do with it..

Yes, here I go double posting again...this deserves it...
If you feel comfortable with this tool, I would recommend using it. Advanced Users should have no problem. http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...50#post6053250 If you don't know how to, forget this post, Maybe mike will incorporate it. |

Re: ║MightyROM.com║ ║Windows Phone®║ ║Sense UI 2.5║
Has anyone had any issues with the alarm clock? This morning (after my alarm went off), I changed the time (to an hour later) and turned off the other two alarms (set for 5 and 10 minutes after the first). Sure enough, the 2nd and 3rd alarms went off even though I had turned them off. Does anyone else have this issue?
Other than this, I've had very few problems with the ROM. Outstanding work. |

Re: ║MightyROM.com║ ║Windows Phone®║ ║Sense UI 2.5║
Alright, yesterday I finally experienced the SOD, Sleep Of Death, after re-importing my Call History while it was re-indexing the calls. It was not fun at all, considering I had just successfully run the Task 29 to re-format my NAND and flashed back to 032310, or something that resembles it.
So this morning I decided to see if I could find out why, so I hit up Google, and found a post by NRGZ over on MobileUnderground stating he had tracked it down to htcservices.dll. So I figured what the hell, I'll cab up the same version he uses and install it to see what happens. Well, it worked, I repeated the same re-importing of the call logs and no hang up while re-indexing, the phone was slow, but that's to be expected. So here's what I used to fix at least my Sleep Of Death: Click here for HTCServices.dll cab And since I mentioned Task 29, more info is here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=656245 And if you'd prefer the easy method with just a blank splash screen I made this one: Click here for Task 29 with Blank Splash EDIT: I see how you are Mordy, beating me to the punch. lol Z Last edited by ziggy471; 04-01-2010 at 03:19 PM. |

Agent_47 put a task29 thread in this forum...
http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=116571 By the way, what does the htcservices.dll cab do? Also, what is the easy method of task29 with blank splash screen...how does that differ from the regular task29? (sorry, not up to speed with a lot of the technical stuff) |

Am I understanding right that to Flash to a new radio, the unlocker has to be purchased first?

As for the easy way, it's Agent_47's patched RUU in a self-extracting exe with a blank splash screen nbh instead of having to add your choice of a radio. I operates similar to how Mike releases his ROMs, you run it, it extracts and runs the RUU. Z |
