As for the splash screen are you talking about the Orange Windows screen? If so install the WP Bootup Screen below...its something nice I found and cooked up...

I want that girl picture for my splash screen
the one below is cool but not as cool as that to have mighty girl start up as splash screen thanks

woohooo!! facebook pics now appears as my default contacts pics (previous mightyrom war version does it but never shows up when a call is received)..
now i can sleep better at nights

the rom is blazing fast.. MightyMike sure is one crazy fellow.. salute to a fellow canadian!!! :salute:

I have seen this as well, though not with Palringo. I find that sometimes Opera closes while running Kinoma Play, and vice versa. I think it may be related to free memory; the system shuts down applications running in the background (not the app on the screen) to free up resources.

does anybody know of a way around this?

that's a good thing. Means 1) things on the rom are working, and 2) people are actually using their device. :)

Go to Settings->Today and then click the items tab and it should say Windows Default...check that and bam your good to go...then if you want to switch back to HTC Sense do the same except select HTC Sense instead of Windows Default
