I have tryed to install might rom on my htc touch pro 2 and i just have the phone stuck with setting up device...please wait

It has been like this for 30 minutes and nothing

I have done a hard reset and just the same thing happens

Can anyone help

From past expereinces with other ROM's that seems to happen if you have a bad micro SD Card. Try swapping out the SD card with another one and see if that works.

David

EDIT: oops.. I just read the rest of the posts after your first one and it appears that you are on a GSM network. If that is the case, thsi ROM is for CDMA and will not work on your phone. See the links that one of the other guys provided for the GSM version.

If you are on a CDMA phone/network, then try what I said above.

screen flashes alot of times. I think this has been mentioned as a 6.5.x issue. When you have more than one email account and one of the email accounts is checking the email server, the screen flashes each time a message comes in.

Uh oh... My first signs of problems.
If my phone has been idle for a few mins and I turn it on sense restarts.
Only mods I did were to add back the TV and nav tabs, install the latest cookie (with editor) and change the clock to mightyrom carbon.

I think I'm going to remove those updates and see what happens. Maybe flash OF or SE to give them a try.

Just tested and the sound is fine for me when playing videos.

More than likely is is one of the tabs u added back on....cookie and the clock should not cause that issue...but did you disable sense when adding those?......if not I would try it that way and see if the problem persists...

While manila is disabled, delete \Windows\ManilaFull.xml, it'll be re-created when you re-start manila.

Also to add to Flyers...which TV and NAV tab did you use? Morty said that the one he modded up has not been tested, but the one VIN has fixed up has and should work. I too have added those tabs back, but I used VIN's cab and I do not get those errors.
