Agree kjhadfield - manually editing in Outlook and resaving then sync'ing is what I believe you have to do. Luckily my wife's birthday does not fall during this time period. Would miss it by a day I was reminded of the bug when St. Patrick's Day showed up on Wednesday last week rather than Thursday.

As for the Windows Mobile and how it handles Daylight Savings Time, I believe this is the latest hotfix from Microsoft:

Windows Mobile cumulative update for daylight saving time (DST) December 2009

It's a cumulative update - should include all the previous DST fixes. I'm not sure if it will resolve the issues being reported, but it can't hurt to include it in the ROM, I figure.

is anyone experiencing problems with CHT quicklinks widget.

I have my quicklinks on the page below my home screen. Its 4 rows. and I have a 3 page setup.



Well The most common problem is that My quicklinks from One page sometimes migrates to the same spot in a different page and overides the quicklink in that spot. If you select it it will launch the overridden link. Sometimes it stays for days..

• phone from 3rd page was overriden by wifi router 2nd page a few days back but as you can see its returned to its original state
• wifi was overridden by total commander a few days ago its back to its original.
• Right now: silent (from 3rd page) is being overridden by google on its corresspond row and column (2nd page)

Other times quicklinks will just override a different quicklink in the same page.
Right now Clean ram is being overridden by websterbank on the second page. Webster banks original location is on the second row third column. If I select webster bank (the one thats overridding clean ram) it will launch websterbank not clean ram.

Now there seems to be no pattern to this.. Sometimes ill just reset my phone to find my quicklinks all messed up and other times it will run a few days without this happening. Whats even stranger is sometimes it will go back to its original quicklink and the overridding quicklink will be gone but the one it overridden will remain.


Sometimes I try running clean ram and reset the phone. It didn't help but for some reason I did a sof reset didn't help when I wanted to. Then I look at it today and it went back to its original quicklink.

Its always with quicklinks that have already been set. It wont occupy a blank quicklink.. and applications wont set itself. Meaning it has to already be a quicklink to override a quicklink.

Hope this is enough info and im clear enough.

I just read up on CHT 2.0 thread and it looks like this is a known issue...

I thought that was the case. I also thought I had read about someone making a fix for it, but I could be mistaken. When I have time, I'll sift through that thread to see if I can find anything.

This is one of the reasons I don't use multiple pages...

Programs Tab baby!! Programs Tab!! When set as a quicklink, you can't go wrong! Just my 2 cents.

Yes it is a known bug with CHT2.0, I run CHT2.0, and it does it all the time, esp when the OS gets a bit old (more than 7days), and starts to go corrupt due to usage....

So that's why I flash at least every week...

One thing though is the Mobi tv app cause's a complete freeze up.
Hoping you can check that out before next release.

You say "the mobi tv app" as if this app is part of the ROM. The only TV app in the ROM is Sprint TV in the Sprint ROMs. I just watched 5 min. of an episode of Eureka via Sprint TV and had no freezing issues at all. If this is an app that you installed, perhaps a reinstall may be in order. If you like, post the cab and I will try it out and see what I can come up with.
