Gmail Problems. Yesterday Gmail started messing up my ability to synch email in general. It hangs and it says connecting and never connects. When this happens nothing else works on the phone. The only solution I have found to work is just to delete Gmail in general. I see recently Google added new features to the Gmail account. I think this is the cause of the problems. This is a new problem and I am sure I won’t be the first to comment on it. I am sure Sharkie will discover a fix for this.

I just started noticing this yesterday as well. I did a search for an answer last night, but I didn't come up with anything... I'll keep my eyes open for any info. I come across that might help. Sorry, I don't have anything yet.

So it's not something that I can fix. It's a google thing. Supposedly, they're working on it.

Just to update, ran across this in another thread.

Google apparently removed what ever the problem was. It is working now.
Google IMAP Fixed...

Just as an FYI to everyone, I've just got one more thing I'd like to fix before I release a beta version 5.1 or 5.2, or whatever it is that I end up calling it, for testing. I hope to release a beta of this ROM in the thread tomorrow or Sat. I may go ahead and release it anyway, if this issue proves to be a stubborn one. It's not a big issue and a lot of you won't even use the app that contains the issue.

Good to hear about new ROM. Is the memory back to where it was before X? Not sure what version of MoTweets you use, but there is a 2.0 out a few weeks ago... just a FYI.

I'm not sure on the memory question. I'll flash v 5.0 when I get home later to see how it compares.
