Hey Sharkie I just started using your Roms here in the past couple of weeks and all has been good, just trying severalout to see which one fits my needs(great work by the way). My problem is when I installed your Xrom 4.24.11 after provisioning and all I find that calls and dta work fine but as soon as I sync my outlook contacts and try to make a call to one of the contacts it won't respond. I've searched for this problem and tried all settings I could think of, any suggestions? TIA and keep up the great work.

Hey Sharkie, just swapped over to X from 5.0, using a Sprint TP2. Nice work... I'm using the CE version with out CHT. It may be me, but it seems a little slower than your tried and true 5.0 - with CHT. I can't say that technically, it just feels that way... I can't find any faults other than those previous mentioned (end button) so far it's stable and clean running. I'll keep testing! (Will test the CHT version next week after I return from travels.)

Thanks again for extending the life of my TP2... I'm tryin' to get at least another year out of the old dog. (It's growlin' at me though...)

Just want to add my voice to the choir: Sharkie's ROM is truly the best there is.

I have tried most others, starting with Mighty, etc. Each is unique in its own right, and few really suck, but overall, my TP2 has always felt its best while swimming in shark-infested waters.

That being said, I also know that chefs learn what they know from each other, so any input, specially from a successful vet, is valuable. I know Sharkie will stay true the essence of his ROM, and tweaking tips will be weighed carefully; I'm not too worried about messing up a good thing.

Thank you for making my TP2 the well-oiled machine it was meant to be.

Just installed the 6.5.X Sprint SharkieROM v5.0 rom and for some reason it's really sluggish. I did task 29 as well so that's not the issue.
I didn't install any programs on top of it as well.

is 6.5 Sprint SharkieROM v5.0 significantly faster?

Im using 6.5.x and it doesn't lag at all.

but i did have problems in the past with being slugish especially when opening up the phone.

What fixed it for me was doing a full reformat to my sdcard. The one that takes an hour.

after that did a HR and Now the phone flys!!!

It has to be something because when this rom is in working order you will be amazed.

Been running it now since the 5.0 release and I havn't had to hard reset since!

agreed...try the sd format and also maybe even reflash, sometimes its either a bad dl or bad flash (no real reason excpect sometimes it happens)

I don't have any ideas off of the top of my head. I don't use outlook and don't want to pay to use it. I'll see if I can find a "free" version somehow. If anyone has any ideas, PM me. In the meantime, I'll do some digging and see if I can find any info. on that situation. If you can, elaborate a little more so I have more to go on, if there is anything more than the contacts being unresponsive after having synced via outlook.

I don't see how that could be possible. Without CHT things always seem quicker for me, although with CHT v2.0, I barely can tell a difference especially with the Typo clock. I would almost say there is virtually no lag at all from the home screen even with all quicklinks filled up. In any event, I haven't run the non-CHT version for long at all, so thank you for your input! I might throw her on for a test drive.

Thank you for the compliments Those are some of my favorite things to read. I like to hear that my ROM has made someone re-appreciate their phone!

i cannot get this CE off my phone, please help!

im trying the bootloader method but my phone keeps disconnecting from the computer during the install.. any help on msd uploading?!
