I dont task 29, i dont have a radio to use so i cant do it. The phone kept freezing on me so ive hard reset a few times. Ive changed roms and the phone seems to be fine. Im a big fan ive had sharky roms since your 2.0ish releases. I hope its a phone thing i was enjoying it till it stopped werking for me.

Good to hear about flash though... Ihope your next rom werks better for me

Hello IronMogul. You don't need a radio for task29. I use a version of task29 that only puts a splash screen on the phone and does not mess around with the radio.

Here is the link for the download of task29 with a splash screen (no radio).

i havent fully tested this out yet but the specs on this are wrong/misspelled. there isnt a opera 10.3 but its actually opera 10 beta 3 in the zip, along w/ 2 versions? of flash lite 3.1 (if 1 doesnt work you use the other? i think) also think a version of coreplayer is in there the last time i looked

Does anyone know how to shut off roaming. make it so that im only on sprint.

It looks like I got charged 18$ roaming Thats more then half my monthly plan.

Im trying to look for it but I can't find it

The RUU at the link below is even better for Task29. It just performs Task29 without the need to flash anything, so your splash screen won't be overwritten .

I thought making your phone incapable of roaming could only be done thru Sprint. Other than that you can uncheck all the various "Data while roaming" options like in weather and stocks and such.

I have never thought about it because I have a newer plan. Would this help for your situation> phone/menu/options/cdma services/network services/data roam guard- select always ask. There is also "out of coverage alert" in the same list at the bottom.

IT was set to "Automatic"

And data roam gaurd was set to "Default"


But what is the difference betweeen

Home only
Automatic - A
Automatic - B

And if I want it to never roam.

Shouldn't the data roam guard be set to NEVER ASK and Have the Allow roaming unchecked?

However when I do that it warns me of that data guard wont warn me when I roam.

Idont understand

Should I just have the dam thing set to home only? What are options Automatic A & B mean?

I do have the data roam gaurd set to always ask though...
