I recently sync my phone, and my memery was DANGEROUSLY LOW ( In the red ) and I'm at 27k right now... Have anyone noticed the memery drain? Plus I've noticed random sense restarts when I try to change task & skins wallpaper in CHT. plus It did it a couple times before. Just thought I'd run that by you.

coming from MightyRom, this is the cab i used to use. prior to sending an mms, it would ask me if i wanted to compress any pics larger than 500k. i have my camera set to 3mp my wife is unable to receive the pic on her TP2. are you guys taking pics w/ a lower resolution to send mms?

i tried installing this on your rom, and it said that it did not have sufficient system permissions.

No I sure didn't... I had a feeling it would just be a waiting thing. I just couldn't wait... I went through and manually updated the profile pic for each of my linked contacts.

I haven't flashed since the release of the 6.5.x ROM, so I haven't really had a chance to see what the issue is.

Very nice indeed! The new taskbar icons I use don't have that battery issue anymore! I've thought about making a GTX ROM, but I've heard there are many issues. Has development continued and have more of the kinks been worked out up front?

There was issues when CHT 1.8.5 first released, as GTX WAS built on 1.7.1. But it's all updated now. there are some special fixes for Sense 2016, but they're easily cooked in. LMK if you want some more info This is running insane awesome!

And im using the OC , and HOLY WOW...

thats because your sms/mms was running in the background,you will always get that error due to receiving or sending any kind of sms/mms prior to installing

it will install fine which leaves you with 3 options...

1. put phone into airplane mode and soft reset phone so you cannot get any sms/mms until the install is complete,if you get one during you will get the error again

2. use Arkswitch which is cooked in too kill progams running in background (sms/mms) then install and hope no sms/mms is received

3. either at the crack of dawn or late at night when you know you won't receive any


doesn't matter what arcsoft cab or which carrier it is for,your sms/mms cannot be running in background or ect. to install any arcsoft cab of any kind,being with VZW i have no choice but to use a arcsoft cab for mms on this rom and have same issue happen to me too because i simply forget to do one of the above mentioned options

Glad to hear that it's not my 2016 6.5.X baby! That would have sucked! I've almost got my hybrid v1.2 up to par.

I have noticed excessively high memory usage with the 2018 core as well. I'm not sure why though. Still looking into it...

I am not able to sync to my exchange server with the 1.1 8/23 Sprint 6.5.x rom.

When I add the exchange server using activesync (pc to phone), I get an error telling me to reconnect my phone to the PC and try again.

When I enter the exchange server settings manually, I get a sync could be completed erro with a code of 0x80004005 (which doesn't tell me anything) and it stops.

I did task29 before loading this ROM and have downloaded and flashed 3 times to make sure it wasn't jus a bad flash.

I have data as I am able to get to the web with no problem and the com manager shows data and direct push on so I am really confused.

Anybody able to help? I really like this rom but need exchange to work otherwise it will be back to...

Can you please look into the high memory usage with your 6.5 beta, been running it for a couple days and I am at 86%, I even use ram cleaner and didn't help at all.

I haven't messed with Exchange Server ever so I'm not sure off the bat what's up. I will look into it. I can't say that will be a priority right now though. Keep checking back every so often for updates in this area. Should I have any revelations on the matter, I'll PM you. Thanks for trying out my ROM :)

Yes, I'm aware of it and am looking into it. My main focus right now has been Sense 2018. It'll be few days before I get back to 6.5 probably... Sorry for the delay.

So I just tried the 21911 ROM and exchange seems to be working with no issues.

I will try your next 6.5.x release to see if it works but I am going to take this puppy out for a spin.

hhmm, interesting... Thanks for letting me know. I will compare my 6.5.X and 6.5 builds and see what the differences are that could possibly relate to this issue.

Be aware that the 6.5 ROM has been labled as a beta due to high memory usage. I'm still working on that as well, but it'll be awhile.

Let me know your findings on mem. usuage after you've test drove it for a while...

I am now running into the mail tab causing SENSE to crash, I ran into this on the 1.1 sprint cht rom as well.

I will keep you posted on Memory issues(if any).

I've run into that problem when messing around with my 2018 hybrid ROM, but never on a fuill 2016 ROM. No one else has reported this issue either... Not sure about that.

Sorry my ROMs are giving you so much trouble. As I look into the 2018 mail tab issue, I'll keep you posted on any new developments regarding stability...

So I've since replaced mail 2016 with mail 2011 and I think that's the route I'm gonna go with for all the ROMs. I can't tell any visual difference between any of the 2.5 mail tabs versions. 2011/2012 tabs seem to be the most absolute most stable tabs on our phones, IMO.

I have a hybrid ROM version 2 that I'm running for the night. Seems quite stable. I may upload that tonight or tomorrow morning just for you guys to play with and test out, and then go back to focusing on the 2016 6.5.X ROMs and release and update of those, and then...

Focus on the 6.5 issues. Sorry to make you 6.5 fans wait, but like I said... 6.5.X is my baby.

Yeah, your right about the visual... The only differences is in the settings (Hotmail) But it not the big of a deal when they still do the same thing. I'm running 2018 now (waiting for you to drop yours) I've been ready a lot of threads and a lot of people have a lot of problems with the 2018 build. And I think some of it has to do with Opera and Landscape... But what do I know.:scratch:

How is the performance (when the usage is high)? I really stopped paying attention to the memory usage since 6.5 dropped. RamSweeper/CleanRAM don't do as much on 6.5 as they did on 6.1. And honestly, I've seen up to 92% usage on my phone, but couldn't even tell. I stopped paying attention to the free RAM, and just going by how the phone felt. If I thought it was lagging (rarely) then I did a quick soft reset. Only had to SR like once a week.

I believe I've only been using Opera9.7 since I've been on a 2018 core and I'm having odd Opera issues. It didn't occur to me that it could be 2018 related. Maybe I'll try Opera10 on those builds and Opera9.7 on 2016 builds and see if they do any better...

Good point! Thank you. dapmonkey4u also noted the same thing saying that memory was high, but it didn't seem to affect performance at all...

Of course, I'll still look into it. However, if battery life and performance don't seem to be affected, then...

I agree... I stop looking at it too. But when you be online as much as I do Opero and Skyfire well shut down our do to low memery. Not sure if that's related but when I soft-reset It'll go back to normaly.

Oh i gotcha. Yeah that's related. Try changing the pagepool before you flash. set it to 14, and give that a run.

OK so I have a bug to throw out there, that I'm pretty sure I saw someone else mention. When your setting birthday/anniversary dates for contacts, the wheel doesn;t scrool up to before 2002. Or you can scroll ALL the way down to get to the 90s... Not too big of a deal, except I just tried to set a friend's anniversary as 2006, and it set it as 1906, instead of 2006...

Sharkie you do you have a 6.5.X 2016/2018 No CHT, I want to run Cookie 1.7.1 and see how that hold up compared to 1.8.5.1

another mms question: is anyone having issues sending mms from your albums? i'm able to send an mms immediately after taking a pic, but if i go to my album and try to send, the pic does not attach and the "insert" tab is unavailable.

I can check this out on my Verizon TP2, and see if the Verizon provisioning lets it send from album. Will post back later.

And honestly, I've seen up to 92% usage on my phone, but couldn't even tell. I stopped paying attention to the free RAM, and just going by how the phone felt. If I thought it was lagging (rarely) then I did a quick soft reset. Only had to SR like once a week.
when I try use any programs it give you the out of memory error, it says please close unused applications.
