WOW! Very nice! It's nice to see my ROM pimped out like that! Like I said before I have some ideas about the start menu icon. I'll be experimenting on and off throughout the day today. I'll keep you guys in the loop on any new developments in the start menu icon area. Thanks for taking the time to provide all your feedback. It's been very helpful. :)

This happens with different ROMs at times as well... Not sure what causes the issue, but once things settle in, they seem good to go :)

So regardless, I think I'm going to keep this lockscreen and remove the other one that in the ROMs now. Besides the fact that it's faster, I like that I can see the wallpaper on the passcode screen.

Is there a Sprint NO CHT version of your ROM?? Ive been really curious to try it out and think I will go ahead and make that flash. Just curious to know if there is a NO CHT version for Sprint. I just like the speed vs aesthetics. Thanks in advance for any help.

I appreciate you trying me out. I look forward to your feedback. I can't say that you'll leave Vinn for me, but a lot of his users have said they like my ROM as well. Perhaps he and I have similiar tastes. I can't say as I've never flashed his ROM, but he's the man so it's a great compliment to hear from his users.

There are a few issues. Check the first post under "Graphic Bugs" and "Known Issues" for more info. on them.

LOL....Man off first go around I liked it! It was undeniably fast!! I loved that part. The thing I was a little shaky getting used to was the constant vibration. Everything I touched vibrated. Not a biggie as that can be adjusted. The aesthetics are GREAT!!!! I was really impressed. The icons were not my taste but I have something to fix that as well. So my only question is...Is there a cab to get the 3 row start menu back?? And is there a way to avoid xda from autoloading?? I have my xda set for another ROM and it just installed all these unneeded apps. i.e. Sprint MMS. LOL. I personally changed my pagepool to 14, but that really isnt a big deal. I tried it with 0 and 14 just seems a little more snappier. All in all I give this a ROM a 10 out of 10. Nothing major that got me from first glance. The ROM is good enough for me to give it a go for a few days just to see how it holds up after my test beating!! Great work Sharkie!! Ill have to add your ROM page to my browser favorites!! You just made my top 5 cooks list. Also the text message ringtone was hilarious!! I was like WTF?? I love it!! Great work man! CAnt wait till you get down packed enough to make your ROM flawless!! i.e. The bugs you mention in your first post.

:D Glad to hear the good reviews. Yes, there is a way for me to cook XDA UC to not auto boot, but I'm not sure about a .cab or regedit to do so after the fact. I'll look around on that. In the meantime, even though it's a pain, you could just move that stuff out of your XDA UC folder to a XDA UC 2 folder or something like that.

As far as a 3 row start menu .cab, I'm sure that there is. I'll look around for that and if not, perhaps I can make one for you. I'll keep you posted on that progress.

Great job Sharkie. Just got everything I normally run installed and configured. Booting with 72 mb ram free with CHT and the programs tab loaded up. Rom runs really smooth. I also think you have a great combo of apps included with the rom. Saved me from a lot of installing and mods. Like your icon set as well.

No problems with data or any of the beta bugs. I know this was a ton of work for you. It is appreciated.

All 4 ROMs are now uploaded to VBNFiles, the new file hosting server. Let me know if any of you run into any issues with it.

I won't be on much more tonight and probably not much tomorrow either. I got another 16 hr. work day tomorrow. I'll be peeking my head in once in a while to see what's up, but forgive me if questions and concerns go unanswered for longer than usual. :)

I have found the solution to this.

In Start Menu>System Tools you will find Flip_It. I think it's a great app and can be very useful, but it takes some playing around with it to make it specific user friendly and not annoying e.g. switching back to portrait when the keyboard is open. If you open Flip_It you will see this screen.

Uncheck 0° and that will fix your issue. Then when your keyboard is open it will always stay in landscape no matter what you're doing. You won't have to open and close your keyboard to get it to switch to landscape. You can also play around with the programs I already have set to rotate to certain angles or simply remove some of them and/or change what angles they are allowed to rotate to.

0° is portrait
90° is rotate to the right, I believe
180° is rotate upside down portrait
270° is rotate to the left, I believe

Checking a box means that you are telling it to allow rotation to that angle. If you want any programs to not rotate at all, uncheck all the angle boxes.

Again, it's a great tool, but it can be in the way if you don't take the time to learn and play with it. :)

On Sprint Non-CHT... Havent had any real problems besides the graphical and rotation problems already mentioned after about 14 hours with a couple calls, text messaging, and good amount of browsing, I have 48 percent of battery left. It has been smooth, decent amount of ram available.

One problem I did have (but unsure if it was from the overclock) while I was on a call, I received another call but my screen wouldn't come back on to show who was calling or to switch over. Could be the overclock script acting crazy though.

You and Vin should get together.

Sorry, but I gotta LMAO on that one! Well, the first step is facing your fears, which you have by trying out my ROM :D You're on the path to getting rid of your Shark-phobia!

Now to your question, uumm... seeing as how it's Windows Mobile and with WM all things are possible, I'm sure that there is. I only know how to cook one in, but I've never tried changing a boot screen after the fact. I will look around for you and let you know if I find anything. It probably won't be today. Gotta work all day. Mabye some one else here can link you up sooner.

Edit: Now that I think about it, you may just be able to replace that file. It is called " welcomehead.192 ". I've never tried it so I'm not sure it would work, but you could give it a go. Obviously, it needs to be 480x800 and named welcomehead.192 . It also needs to be in .jpg format. A .png will definitely not work. I'm curious to know if that works. Let me know, if you try it.
