Wierd as it may sound,...I go to my contact list and pick someone out of the list. I click on "send message" (to text) and my screen turns black. Can't text at all from contact list! Also did a Hard reset and still didnt fix the problem. Hmmmmm,..... any ideas? BTW....Love the Rom and its speed. TY Express!!!

Update: Re-downloaded Rom and did a Task 29 on phone. Re-installed and still same problem. Last Rom before this update worked fine. I love this freakin Rom. Help me out guys!

go on AIM or something and text ur phone a "test" text message, go and open it up.. than go back in ur contacts, and try to resend a message, should work than... I had this issue too..

Text messages do work this way and if someone sends me a message it works as well but you should be able to go to contacts and send a message from there and THAT doesnt work. Its a minor issue but I like the comfort of picking a contact and sending messages from there.

I have exactly the same problem (and same sentiments).

About to flash 6/3 so maybe that will take care of this but I two minor issues with this ROM. I could not for the life of me get the sms sent messages disabled. I tried cabs, manually editing the reg, etc. And hitting mark all as read would bring up settings in inbox, and not mark anything read, though I think an install of safe inbox extender would fix that but I never tried it.

This is my new fav ROM.

I have to ask, why does there seem to be a trend away from LEO based Rhodium ROMs? I liked Footprints, eReader, etc.. and I didn't think they were that much slower.

Flashed to this rom last night. I had the same could not send text from contacts issue.Followed jdmsohc22's suggestion, sent a text from another phone, and the problem is gone. Even if after I deleted all the message in my phone, I can still send text from the contacts list. Thanks jdmsohc22.

Xpress, over all this rom works very well. But I am wondering if you can upgrade those apps build in the rom to most current version for your new release? Such as Bing, Opera 10 (from beta), MS Office Mobile 2010, Windows Live, MS Market Marketplace, etc. These are the apps I had to install new versions, and then try to change the icons on the new installed apps.
When I try to use icon changer app in the tools/utilities folder, it only give me two options: "Create New Folder" and "Reset Device". This does not look right. I cannot choose a new icon for the link/app I selected. Anyone know how to use it?
