correct, the widget displays how many unread messages you have...it has no way of knowing what is "new" since everything unread is "new"

click inbox then scroll through all messages to clear them off the notification

6.9 is running pretty good. batti life is up with everyone else. speed is above par. widgets are looking good, action screen is SICK! (it's my new fav page)
still tweaking on my side to figure out what causes the occasional hang...usually when I drop 50 sms or so or get in a bunch of emails and sms and have media playing...just graphical hangs that usually self clear within 5-10 seconds...but will try some tweaks to see if it clears it up any.

Not a rom specific prob but a TP2 issue. I have in-call-screen tweak, but still get random screen taps while in call, does anyone have any better program or hints on how to get it dialed in??
New widgets are going to rock--my request was to have a larger slide clock---way to read my mind.
overall Big, you and Max are doing a great job building this UI.

Not so much the notification, I was talking about the mail alert that shows a single message or maybe it's the subject. I was hoping that it would display the last message that comes in.

Big, just curious, what happened to the Red MaxSense theme? I checked post #4 and still didn't see it. Just wondering.

Personally, I don't use the memory widget LMFAO... I have no idea how much it uses or whatever.. I know that the device is quick as can be. No notices or anything yet about running out of memory..

Batt. life is pretty good as well.

i havent had a problem. ranges from 10%- 28%, but no noticable issues between the two. actually i have been running SmartGear constantly and i havent noticed any lagging or memory loss. I honestly think its MaxSense that does something like (for lack of a better term) paging file. it automatically reserves a certian amount of memory but only uses what it needs. ive noticed that having a large amount of widgets does make things seem slower, but where memory is concerned, there is no change weather you have just 1 clock or every one of them active.

i know you are busy and all, but i might suggest loading all of your themes in your releases, but have a theme script that changes as needed. ive seen a few of these things done through mortscript. dont know if it would be worth the trouble, but just a suggestion. if you like it, take it; if not, shoot it right back.
