I downloaded this for my wife's TP2 and i really like it, do you have this ROM for the Touch Pro?

On the SMS screen, I selected NEW.
Then clicked on INSERT in the menu, then VIDEO.
See attached.

I know this won't really help you but I did the same and once I click "video" you get the busy bar and then it opens the video album to choose your video. Sounds like perhaps the /C-C is suppose to open the video album but for some reason it's not. Can you open the video/photo album manually? If so then go to the menu and choose "share" then choose "messages" then choose your video file and see if that works. Granted, not ideal but perhaps a work-around.

so i followed your advice but it seems to be trying to use the email handling program to send it. the file is an attachment and its fromText message)
and when I try to insert a number and press send I get
"Cannot recognize one or more recipients or the address is not valid. Would you like to send the message anyway?" I press yes and it then says " Outlook Email, IMAP4, and POP3 email accounts cannot be used to send text messages"

I agree with tbone, it seems like your album is wonky.
After clicking Video, I get my album with videos, just like it should work.

You may want to reflash, too.
Perhaps you got a bad install.
If you do, try the Task29. It wipes out all old settings so that leftover data from previous ROMs dont interfere with the new ROM settings. Many on here (tbone included) are experiencing good results with it clearing up weird one-off problems.
These problems are appearing for one person only and no one else. That seems to indicate a bad flash or wonky leftover settings. Try the Task29 and reflash, see if that fixes you.

i did a clear storage but that didnt work. ill try a reflash now but what is task29?
