i would go with either... these are the biggest differences for me personally

- 6.5 has about 5% more free RAM
- 6.5x has easy to access button on the bottom of the screen
- 6.5x has an updated style of tab menus.. easier to cycle through tabs
- 6.5x has threaded SMS/Email... which gives you a preview of message without having to go to message... (this slows down my device a bit IMO)

I think thats about it.... i usually go back and forth and use both... but as far as i see it the only thing that 6.5 has going for it is the 5% more free RAM.... but the 6.5x still strolls along quite nicely

Yeah turn weather off on 6.5.3 and its alot better. I dont mind sacrificing a bit of slowness for all the features like threaded mail for one... There is a bug carried on throughout all the roms where the taskbar leaps ahead of the bottom/top buttons. It is corrected with a start menu and cancel. Usually happens when you are folding up the phone while in text messaging after sending. Since hiding the taskbar in the new release it seems to have corrected. Is this how it was corrected? Hehe

I went ahead and made the mode9 fix to place the weather BEHIND the slide clock as shown below...

This will not be included in new Updated ROM.....not sure which way i will go with permanently.

THIS SHOULD ONLY BE USED WITH MAXSENSE V1.05

Yes i know.. that is because HTC message client is not installed....

i have not been able to install it and keep WinMo message client as default

will have it soon hopefully
