one tip for those using contacts.
I save the first (middle) page of quicklinks for my contacts. Click a link and select contact, select your contact, and then the number you want....now all you have to do is select the person on the quicklink and it will call or sms without fooling around with the contact widget and you get 25 of them, plus 50 other quicklinks (page left and right) for programs

this worked on my BigCo0kie ROM courtesy of htcsql

Viusual Voice Mail Fix That Works For Me
1. go to (settings), (connections), (connections)
2. click the (advanced) tab
3. then click (select networks)
4. click the down arrow on the (connect to the internet should connect
using) and select (My ISP)then click ok.
5. click the (Tasks) tab and click (Add a new modem connection) under
(My ISP)
6. select (New), enter whatever name you want to call it
7. click next number to dial is (#777)
8. don't type any user info or password
9. just hit finish. when it tries to connect it will ask for user and pass info
all you want to do is check (Save password) then hit ok. Now start
VVM and it will work

Do we have a list of the issues that will be addressed in this new release tonight (fixes)? I am not nagging here. I am running the 6/3 release and it is a beautiful thing. There have just been a handful of issues i have run into most of all lockups and screen glitches.

There are one or two items (not including widget requests) that have not been fixed.

when in contact widget-black screen on sms, though everything else works---this is because htc messaging is not included, so this will not work through the widget....sms works fine through sms tab.

the Arkswitch locking issues are gone because so is arkswitch.

Pro gloss taskbar still has "verizon" as the carrier (working on carrier spacific logos now)...just the picture, if it really freaks you out to have a sprint carrier with a verizon logo on taskbar, minimize taskbar

Bati life and CPU usage are markedly improved--but still a work in progress.

Still no number specific dialing in contact widget---the work around is to make a quicklink a contact---you can assign any phone number to that

Hmm. I am noticing many issues with the black screen and more recently a half black screen. Just tried to reply to an email. Reply was sent right after i hit the send button but then the screen goes half black.
